*ring ring ring*

My alarm blared out. It's 7:30 in the morning and I'm gonna be stuck in the studio all day. Then I have to have dinner with my Uncle Simon later on. What a great day to look forward to! *hence the sarcasm* I forced myself out of the covers and headed straight to the bathroom. I stared at my own reflection in the mirror and just stared at the person staring back. I had brunette colored hair with streaks of natural highlights everywhere. I was pretty slim but not too thin or heavy. Just right. I know that lots of my fellow model friends are all about getting thinner and thinner because of their stupid management, but I just can't afford to be like that. I love food way too much to be starving myself. Luckily, I have a fast metabolism, so I don't have to worry about my weight. I'm 5'8", which is a pretty good height for a model. I'm pretty tall so I don't really wear heels, unless I'm at a photo shoot. But otherwise, I would be seen wearing mostly flats or sneakers. I'm not really the girly-girl type, but more of like, I don't know,a sporty-outgoing-chick? I'm not perfect and I know it, but I try to stick to the positive side and just point out the things I like about myself. Unlike other girls who do the complete opposite and ruin their self-esteem.

After 5 minutes of just standing there in front of the mirror and thinking to myself, I finally decided to take a nice hot shower. I striped off my clothes and just let the hot water trickle down my skin. I quickly washed my hair with strawberry scented shampoo and washed my body with apple scented body wash. I rinsed myself afterwards and stepped out of the shower, into the fogged up bathroom. I wrapped myself up in a towel that came just below my bum and started on my makeup. I didn't really like to wear too much makeup and hide myself under layers of chemicals, so I just put on a bit of mascara, a light layer of eyeliner, which made my hazel eyes pop out, light pink blush, and a clear swipe of lipgloss that really emphasized my already plump lips. I saw no point in putting any more amount of makeup on as it was gonna get removed anyways since I had to go to work. After about 2 minutes of doing my makeup, I moved on to picking my outfit. I chose something comfy and simple which was a plain, white v-neck, dark skinny jeans that fit and showed off my legs very nicely, paired with a loose black cardigan and cheetah printed brogues. I then threw my hair up in a messy bun since my hair stylist was going to mess with it lots of times today anyways. I grabbed my purse and stuffed my makeup bag, white iPhone, and wallet in it and grabbed my Ray bans which I placed on my head. I ran down stairs into the kitchen and searched for something to eat. I settled on a banana and a box of to-go cereal box. I ran to my car, started the engine, and made my way out of the huge driveway. On my way to work, I stopped by a Starbucks and ordered an iced mocha. I'm one of those people who just can't start a day without a cup of coffee. Well, in my case, iced coffee. I don't really like hot coffee since I always burn my tongue and takes me forever to drink.

I finally arrive in front of the huge, white building I go to 4 times a week for the past 3 weeks. As I entered, I was greeted by Paul, and it's pronounced pa-ool. If you pronounce it the way it's spelt, he gets really upset.

"Oh dahling, you're 5 minutes late. Chop chop, come on. Hurry you go now!"

I quickly did as I was told and went to hair and makeup first. As usual, my makeup artist, Liz, removed my makeup and started putting heavy layers of makeup on me. I didn't really love all the makeup, but it's part if my job so I have to deal with it. I spent what felt like hours in the stupid chair and my bum was getting really numb. Then it was time to do hair. My 2 hairstylists, Sean and Bella styled my hair crazily with wild, untamable curls everywhere. It matched my heavy makeup with smudged eyeliner and black eyeshadow. I went to my clothing stylist and had to wear a black bikini with a black, laced over-throw. After getting ready, we drove out into Venice Beach which wasn't really crowded yet since it was only 8:30 in the morning. We took a few shots and then had to change everything, including my makeup, hair, and clothes for the next shots. I had about 15 more clothes to model out that usually consists of about 8 shots, EACH! So, I'm gonna be here a while.
