the characters, atsushi and akutagawa, are from an anime, bungou stray dogs. i do not own the characters or the art i use !!
"yes unfortunately...and we need you to take care of him" chuuya replies.
"why me?"
"we were hoping that you would know better because we don't know how to handle him. he's a bit uh- chaotic"
atsushi looks to the ground where akutagawa, in his bunny form, is turning around to see his tail and flopping around to express his anger.

~chuuya leaves~
atsushi turns around and walks towards akutagawa.
"aku calm down this instant! you won't be a bunny forever. stop freaking out."
akutagawa continued sulking and starting running around the house...making atsushi run after him.
"wait come back! *huff puff*"
akutagawa tripped over his paw and flopped onto the floor. aha gotcha- atsushi lunged forward to grab akutagawa but akutagawa leaps away, causing atsushi to faceplant the floor.
"AGHHH this is so tiring already" atsushi says as he curls into a ball. akutagawa, after realising atsushi isn't chasing him anymore, turns around and tilts his head. he hops towards atsushi and nudges his arm a bit.
atsushi takes the chance and scoops aku up while akutagawa squirms in attempt to break free from atsushi's grasp. atsushi, not knowing what to do, kisses aku's forehead to soothe him. akutagawa is stunned but stops squirming. akutagawa is unfamiliar with affection but he definitely enjoys it a lot.

as atsushi holds akutagawa in his hands, atsushi heard his stomach growl.
"oops i forgot to have dinner. let's have dinner together! :D"
atsushi places akutagawa on a chair before going to get food for akutagawa and himself. akutagawa tries to reach the table but fails and plops on his butt, pouting.
"oops i forgot how short your bunny form is. why do i keep forgetting things today?"
atsushi chuckles slightly at how adorable akutagawa is before bringing a stack of books and placing it onto the chair.
"there you go. now wait for me to prepare the food"
atsushi comes back with a bowl of chazuke and a bowl of...porridge? he knows that bunnies aren't babies right? atsushi proceeds to feed akutagawa a spoon full of porridge.
"say ahhh-"
akutagawa took a whiff of it and immediately didn't like it. he swung his paw and knocked the spoon right out of his hands. not to mention he started making a lot of noise-

"aku! >:( what am i gonna do now? hmm..maybe a carrot?"
akutagawa holds the carrot with his paws and nibbles it.
"*relieved sigh* phew."
after they finished eating, atsushi notices how akutagawa's eyes started to close slightly.
"are you tired? it is getting quite late...i guess it's bedtime :)"
atsushi carries akutagawa to his bedroom and snuggles up in bed. atsushi places akutagawa on the bed and pats the empty spot next to him, "here there's space next to me." he stops and smiles, "you know what...it wasn't so bad after all. maybe i don't mind babysitting bunny aku :))" shortly after, they both fall asleep with aku's face buried in the crook of atsushi's neck.
next morning~ atsushi wakes up with akutagawa back to normal next to him.

akutagawa notices atsushi next to him and remembers what happened the day before. he remembers how happy he felt when atsushi showed him care and concern throughout the day. to show his gratitude, out of impulse, he leans towards atsushi and kisses him before hugging him. atsushi is shocked and extremely flustered by his actions.
