one day, after a mission, atsushi walks towards akutagawa to give him a hug.
"yay we did it ak-"
before atsushi could stretch his arms out, akutagawa envelops atsushi in a big hug. it surprised atsushi a lot because aku never initiates the hug.
what is aku doing :0 this is kinda nice...
atsushi is confused but extremely touched by his actions <3

the hug lasted for quite a while. (both of them were embracing it :)) when akutagawa finally comes to his senses, he doesn't say anything and walks away super embarrassed after he realising what he did. atsushi heads back to his room and goes to bed but is unable to fall asleep. did he want to tell me something? i'm gonna ask him about it tomorrow, atsushi thought. he smiled to himself as he repeated the scene over and over, anticipating the next day...
the next day~ atsushi approaches akutagawa first thing in the morning.
'hey aku"
"jinko"
"i was wondering- did you want to tell me something?"
"what are you talking about..."
"about the hug yesterday-"
"what about it- we always hug after a mission stupid"
"but you hugged me! i'm usually the one who does the hugging..." atsushi crosses his arms and pouts.
"there's really nothing special about it. i don't know why you're making such a fuss out of it...a-ATSUSHI GET OFF ME"
"NOT UNTIL YOU TELL ME WHY YOU DID THAT"

atsushi continues to question aku about it but aku, still super embarrassed, doesn't want talk about it and either avoids or changes the topic. they continue to squabble and argue about the hug for about 5 minutes.
"stop this is getting ridiculous" akutagawa grabs atsushi and pulls atsushi to face him. atsushi became all flustered under akutagawa's fierce gaze. although atsushi was pestering akutagawa for a while now, he did not prepare himself for akutagawa's reaction at all. "woah woah wait aku i was joking hah-"
