Lottie woke up with a horrible headache. She checked the time on her watch, to see it was only 1:23 am. As she stood up, a wave of dizziness washed over her, blurring her vision. She swayed but managed to keep steady by holding onto her bed frame. She placed her hand on her forehead and headed towards their bathroom. It was a challenge, but she managed to get there. She wasted no time, as she started to look through their bathroom drawers. "Aha" she muttered under her breath pulling out a white box. She had finally found their first aid kit, at the back of the drawers, behind their supply of toilet paper rolls. She couldn't find any medicine, in fact, all she could find were bandages, paper stitches and some wound disinfector. Damn it she thought, why does Jamie have to keep all the medicine? She asked herself annoyed. Because, that way he knows when you're sick a voice in her held told her. She let out an exasperated groan. She quietly crept her way towards the hallway, in order to reach Jamie's dorm room. She still felt extremely dizzy, so she made her way without removing her hand off the wall in order for her to stay balanced. She wasn't supposed to be in the boy's dorm room, but then again, she wasn't supposed to wander at night either. She stopped in front of the door and hoped it was the right one. She had never actually been here, he always came to their room, so she tried her best to remember the number on the door. She had finally arrived. She opened the door, careful not to make any noise, she didn't want to wake up anybody, that's why she hadn't even bother to knock. She walked soundlessly towards the bathroom door. I don't need to wake him up he doesn't need to--- before she could finish the thought, someone grabbed her from behind. Then it all happened too fast. She froze, not allowing her mind to process what was happening. She tilted her head sideways and say a mob of brown hair, Jamie had pinned her down onto the floor. "Ow" she said. "Lottie?" he asked, surprise in his tone. "Yes, it's me, now could you please let go of me?" she said, surprised at her own sarcastic tone. She was frustrated, she was tired and dizzy and all he'd done was make it all worst. Jamie instantly let go of her and helped her up.
"What are you doing here?" he asked. "I'm here for a cup of tea, what do you think I'm here for?" she surprised herself with her irritated, sarcastic voice once again. What's wrong with me today? she thought. She immediately apologised. "Sorry, I need a headache pill" she corrected a furious blush creeping up her cheeks. Thank god it's dark, she thought. He turned around and started heading towards the bathroom. She went to follow him causing her to fall abruptly. Her vision had turned black and her head was spinning more than ever. Tears were rolling down her cheeks. The pain was not going away and she really needed to sleep. It took a couple of minutes, but her vision slowly came back. She quickly wiped off the tears with the back of her hand before Jamie could see them. She painfully stood up, her legs wobbling under her. When she made it to the bathroom, Jamie handed her a glass of water, along with a pill. "Drink" he told her, and she willingly complied. "Has this happened before?" he asked her, at which she nodded and answered, "it has only happened this strong twice in my life." He asked her if she had eaten anything out of the usual, she thought a bit but, she didn't remember anything out of the usual-- except for that strawberry. She chastised herself for being so carefree. She didn't tell Jamie anything though. She mumbled a thank you before heading out, back to her room. He must have been really tired to not realize that I had been crying or that I lied she wondered. She really needed a good night's sleep. With Haru here, she hadn't stopped worrying. She quietly closed their bedroom door and tiredly headed to her bed. She lay there warm, in between her sheets, until the pain abandoned her and was replaced by a comforting dream.
