LXXXII

Just like the day before, Luna woke up bright and early and got started on cleaning the floors. She'd set the Roomba up on the second floor the night before she only had to spot mop all three floors. The third floor was barely used so the floors weren't dirty up there.

She got started on the third floor first and worked her way down, the scent of her lavender and lemongrass floor cleanser lingering in the air. The scent brought her comfort and she hoped it would do the same for her guests.

She worked quickly and quietly, not wanting to wake the boys. It was currently 7 am and she couldn't sleep so she decided to go ahead and do the floors.

When she was done, she plopped down on the sectional heavily. You don't realize how big your house is until you have to clean it.

She noticed that the plaque the KSS rep had given them was still propped against the wall with a protective covering over it. She would have to get one of the boys to hang it up later.

"Lu, wake up. Jin told me to come wake you. It's time to get started on the food," Joon says, shaking her shoulder slightly.

"Carry me?" she asks, holding her arms out to him, making him chuckle.

"Where to princess?" he asks, hoisting her up off the couch.

"My closet," she replies sleepily, clinging onto him like a koala.

"Aw, cute," Hobi exclaims as he passes them on the stairs.

"This is our stop princess," he says, setting her down on the chair in front of her vanity.

"Thanks Joon," she yawns, getting up to find a comfy T-shirt and some leggings.

"Did you get enough sleep?" he asks, concerned when she let out another yawn.

"Yeah I'm like this because I got up super early and did the floors,"she replies, stripping out of her oversized pj top and into the clothes she'd taken out.

Everyone was set to start arriving between 2 and 3 pm, giving them plenty of time to freshen up and settle in before coming over for a 5 o'clock dinner.

"You've worked so hard already and now you have to cook. The house looks and smells great by the way. If I had done all that, I'd tell you guys to order a fuck ton of takeout and call it a day," he says, making her laugh.

"I can't feed your families takeout Joon. Home cooked just means so much more," she chuckles, sliding her feet into some bunny slippers.

"They're going to like this a lot. It's a nice gesture love," he says, watching her put her hair into two braids.

"I sure hope so," she answers, pulling out her toothbrush.

"Don't worry. They'll love you. The toughest ones to win over are JK and Yoongi hyung's parents. Well, JK's mom in particular. She's easy going once she gets to know you but she's quiet and very watchful at first. She doesn't mean anything by it but it can be a bit intimidating."

"Good to know. I'm not the type to push myself off on someone so I'll wait for her to initiate. What about Yoongi oppa's parents?"

"Well...they mean well. His dad is very quiet and stern, but we've noticed that the remedy for that is alcohol. His mom can be off putting to people that don't know her. She has a dark, dry sense of humor that can be taken the wrong way. She isn't outright mean or rude though so just really listen to what she says before getting offended."

"Ah, that's not so bad. Yoongi himself has a very dry humor sometimes and so does some of my family members. I'm not easily offended either but I'll keep that in mind."
