"Oh my god, this is not happening!" Kurt yelled to no one in particular as he paced the room in his wedding suit and Rachel and Santana shared a nervous look. They had just received a call that the bakery had double booked on weddings and had only made one cake which they were giving to the other wedding.
"Kurt, I'm going to go get Finn and me and him will go to that bakery and get the cake. I promise" Rachel said determinedly before turning and whispering to Santana. "Make sure he's okay"
"Do not ruin the dress!" Kurt yelled after her as she left.
"Finn?" Rachel asked when she entered the room where Blaine and his best men were getting ready.
"What's up baby?" He smiled as he eyed her appreciatively and run his arms up and down her bare arms gently.
"You need to drive us to the bakery, I'll explain on the way" she said quickly, and without giving him time to think she began dragging him out of the room as they headed to his car.
Once they arrived at the bakery, Rachel stormed in as Finn followed behind to make sure she didn't get into any trouble. A repeat of the bachelor party was the last thing everyone needed.
"May I help you?" A baker asked.
"Yes you may" Rachel retorted. "I'm here to pick up a wedding cake"
"Is this for the Miller-Davies wedding?" He asked.
"No" she answered simply. "It's for the Hummel-Berry wedding, this cake was pre ordered one month ago so you are going to give me this cake and you're going to give it to me right now" she threatened.
"You mean this cake?" He asked, lifting it up onto the countertop. It was 2 layers of chocolate cake and 2 layers of vanilla, decorated with pure white icing and intricate red patterns.
"Yes, this cake" she sighed impatiently.
"I'm afraid that a deposit was never payed so seeing as there was a mix up with the other wedding, we offered them this cake and they accepted. Technically, it's theirs.
"You can't give away their cake!" She yelled incredulously as Finn rested his hand on her lower back to try and calm her down.
"How much for the cake man?" Finn asked, pulling out his wallet.
"Look I apologise but there is nothing I can do" the baker lifted his arms in defeat.
"Listen here..." Rachel leaned across the counter and moved her curled hair behind her shoulders so he could look her into her eyes and see her fury. "You give me this cake or I swear to god I will shove it so far-"
"Okayyyy" Finn cut her off as he picked her up by the waist and pulled her away from the counter where the slightly terrified baker watched them from. He lowered his mouth to her ear and whispered softly, "get in the drivers seat, turn on the engine and open the passenger door. Wait for me there"
She looked at him questioningly and he just nodded at her to do so, she kissed him on the cheek softly before obeying to his orders and getting the car ready. She was in the car for a few minutes before Finn bolted over with the cake in hand and the baker chasing after him. "Drive!" He yelled once the door was shut and the cake was secure on his lap, she stomped on the accelerator and had the car speeding away. She looked out of the rear view mirror to see the angry baker throwing his hat on the ground and cursing.
"You're so fucking amazing!" Rachel squealed happily as Finn chuckled and made sure that the cake was steady on his lap.
"I do aim to please" he teased.
