Rachel looked over herself in the mirror after she had put on the earrings her dad gave her for Christmas as she prepared for her date. She wore a white slinky dress with sandals as her hair was naturally wavy from when they had visited the beach in the daytime, she was extremely excited.

The others had gone out for the night so she was alone in the villa as Finn had left to run an errand, when there was a knock at the door her brows furrowed in confusion but she got up to get it nonetheless.

She smiled in confusion when she saw Finn on the other side wearing a navy button up shirt only done how halfway, along with a pair of above the knee shorts. He leant against the doorway with a bouquet of lilies in hand along with a grin, he stared at her in complete awe; paralysed by her beauty.

"What are you doing?" She giggled when he didn't step inside once she opened the door wider.

"Hi I'm Finn Hudson and I'll be your date for the evening" he grinned as she laughed. "And you must be Rachel"

She looked at him amusedly as he handed her the flowers, his eyes were begging her to play along and of course she obliged.

"They're beautiful, would you like to come inside whilst I put them in water?" She asked playfully, he nodded politely as he followed her into the kitchen where she put them into an empty vase.

"Nice place you got here" he said smoothly, leaning against the counter and watching her every move.

"It's not my place, I'm actually only here for 2 weeks" she turned to look at him for a second before returning to the task at hand.

"Just 2 weeks huh?" He pretended to sigh in disappointment before his face turned to a smirk. "Better make the most of these 2 weeks huh?"

"I guess so" she smiled.

When they headed out, he offered his arm which she graciously took as they embarked on the small walk to the restaurant Finn had booked for their date.

The restaurant was placed on a cliff with a gorgeous view of the sea and the tops of other buildings.

"Such an amazing view" she stated in awe as they took their seats facing each other on a small table next to the small glass balcony which showed off the view.

"I know" he replied, not taking his eyes off her.

After they ordered their drinks, Finn reached for her hand across the table as he caressed it softly. "You're so beautiful"

She blushed and looked down bashfully as he grinned at the effect he had on her even after having been together a long time, he looked her right in the eyes already feeling himself getting lost in them.

"I've made so many mistakes-" he sighed disappointed in himself, continuing to look her in the eyes as he stroked her hand.

"Finn-" she went to protest but he shook his head.

"Just let me finish?" He asked softly.

"So you're not pretending we only just met anymore?" She asked teasingly as he shook his head with a smile before continuing his speech.

"I love you" he stated gently, "I love you so much"

"I love you too" she whispered, causing them both to smile.

"And- and I know that I've been an ass and I know that I definitely don't deserve you but for some crazy reason you still let me love you and you continue to love me despite everything" he raised her hand to his lips and placed a feather light kiss on it. "So I wanted to ask you something"
