Chapter 4: Trower Town

(Hey guys it's me Incineking. I just want to say a few things before the story resumes. #1 Happy New Year and with that, I had the title font remade, and to be honest, I like it more than the old one but hey at least you can say that you knew what the og title looked like. #2 Sorry that this did not come out sooner there have been many things in my life that have been going on that I won't go into but I still hope you enjoy this chapter and also if you know the gym leader tell them that Incineking mentioned them. But in other words, hope you enjoy this.)

Incineking 1/5/2021

We are now with our heroes who have finally made it to Trower Town. "Wow, Izaiah we finally made it to Trower Town," Paul said to Izaiah as they both walked to the Pokemon Center. "You know I've only been here a few times in my life and every time I came here it always stays looking the same you know," Izaiah said as they entered the Pokemon Center and walked up to the counter. They were greeted by a pink-haired nurse behind the counter. "Hello, Welcome to the Pokemon Center. I'm Nurse Joy and this is Audino. Can I assist you in restoring your Pokemon?" she asked. "Yes please," Izaiah said as he and Paul returned their pokemon back to their pokeballs and then placed them on a tray as the Audino took them to the backroom. "Audino will be back with your pokemon in a few minutes. In the meantime would you like to register your Pokemon for the Kounty Pokemon League?"

Izaiah and Paul looked at each other then nodded. "Yes, I will like to register please, and thank you." Izaiah reached for his Pokedex. The Nurse was typing away as she inserted their Pokedex into the system. *Doo* dooo* doop*. 'Registration completed' chimed the computer. "OK, Izaiah Garza your registration is complete. Here your confirmation is in your Pokedex. Good luck." she said with a smile. "Thank you," he replied as he reached over and was putting his Pokedex away. "So Paul, what do you want to do while we wait for our pokemon?" Izaiah asked as they were walking out of the building. "You should go see more of the town." Nurse Joy suggested as Izaiah put his Pokedex back in his bag, "Well let go do that. Maybe we should go see the Gym real quick." Paul said. As they were about to go Nurse Joy called out to Izaiah, "What is it?" he asked, "I forgot to give you a case to hold your gym badges." Nurse Joy said as she gave him the case, "Thanks, Nurse Joy. "Well, be back in a little bit to pick up our pokemon." Izaiah said as he and Paul walked out of the Pokemon Center then they went and looked around the town seeing houses and shops around and then they spotted a building that had a symbol that was a strange-shaped pokeball, "That must be the Gym." Paul said, "How do you know that Paul?" Izaiah asked him as he kept looking at the building, "Well I can tell because the building has the pokemon league's symbol on it." Paul said as he was pointing at the pokeball symbol, "Let's go check it out then!" Izaiah said in excitement while he ran to the entrance.

But as they were at the door a man that has a backward white sports cap that had an M on the front and the back half had red and dark, light blue colors matching the same color scheme as his hooded jacket and leggings with sorts that also had the same colors but with grey added on, a Z-ring and Dynamax band, white and black gloves and black cleats and brown eyes and hair. Came out of the gym building.

"Oh hello there who must you be?" the man asked as a floating pokemon came from his back and came next side. "Well, I'm Izaiah Garza this is Paul Cesar," Izaiah said. "Who are you, sir." Izaiah asked the man as the man took out a pokeball, "My name is Mikey and I'm the Gym Leader of Trower Town and this is my pokemon Castform." Mikey said as Paul pulled his Pokedex and scanned the Castform, "It changes its form depending on the weather. Changes in the temperature or humidity appear to affect its cellular structure." The Pokedex explained.

"Wait you're the Gym Leader?!" Izaiah asked in shock, "Yes I'm the Gym Leader of this Town and my specialty is Normal type pokemon." Mikey said to Izaiah as he returned his Castform back to its pokeball. "Where are your pokemon?" Mikey asked the boys, "Well we left them at the PokeCenter to rest for a bit" Paul told the Gym Leader, "Right I almost forgot that we don't have our pokemon with us right now." Izaiah said while scratching the back of his head. "Here tell you what. You come here tomorrow and well have the gym battle." Mikey suggested to Izaiah. "Yeah, that sounds good to me." Izaiah said, "Well if that's the case then I'll see you tomorrow and I hope we have a good pokemon battle." Mikey said as he went and left the front of the gym "Alright Paul let's get back to the PokeCenter, get our pokemon and get ready for tomorrow's gym battle." Izaiah excitedly said to Paul as he rushed to the PokeCenter, "Not again. Hey, wait up man." Paul said while following behind him.

AT THE POKECENTER the boys went to the counter and like last time they were greeted by Nurse Joy, "Hello again how was the walk around the town?" the Nurse asked them, "It was good Nurse Joy. Are our pokemon ready to be picked up?" Paul asked her, "Why yes your pokemon are fully restored and are ready to be picked up I'll have Adino retrieve them while she does that will you two like to check out rooms?" Nurse Joy asked as she got a registering machine ready, "Uh yeah well have two separate rooms please." Izaiah said as Adino came back with the boy's pokeballs. "Ok with that done your rooms how now been registered and here are your keycard for your rooms." she said as he hands them two keycards with different numbers on them, "Thanks, Nurse Joy," Paul said to the Nurse as he got his pokeballs.

"Your welcome and also have a wonderful night." She said to them as Izaiah released Litten out of his pokeball. "You go to your room if you want but I and Litten will stay up a little late so we can train for the gym battle tomorrow." Izaiah said, "Ok I'll see you tomorrow morning then." Paul said ash he went to PokeCenter's bedroom. After Paul went to his room Izaiah and Litten went out to the PokeCenters Battle Grounds and then also released Riolu from his pokeball. "Alright, guys tomorrow is going to be our first gym battle so we have to train together if we want a shot at winning this ok," Izaiah explained to his pokemon as they give him an understanding nod as Litten went to one side and Riolu went to the other side. "Glad to see that you know the drill." Izaiah said with a smile on his face, "Now Litten use Flamethrower then Riolu dodge it with Quick Attack!" Izaiah said as his pokemon followed his directions and as they were training but little to their knowledge there were still being watched from far. What will happen? Will Izaiah win his first gym battle or lose? We will only know in the next chapter.
