Pokemon: New Saga

Chapter 1: New Beginnings

*Beep* Beep* Beep* an alarm goes off in a messy room, full of clothes, DVDs, and papers out of notebooks. "Uuggghhh." a boy with short black hair and brown eyes on the bed groaned. *click* he stops the alarms beeping. "Wait...what day is it again?" he says as he stretches, then he looks at a calendar nearby with the date circled, saying 'Adventure today!!!'. The boy's expression changed from tired to shocked, "OH ARCEUS I FORGOT!!!" he says as he falls out of bed.

He puts on a white t-shirt, black and grey patterned pants, then puts on his favorite black jacket with distinctive red strips near the zipper, red cuffs at the end of the sleeves, and a red symbol of the Pokemon League on the back. Naturally, he then puts on his leather combat boots and his black fingerless gloves and swiftly tops it off with a black gakuran hat. Glistening in the light, a crest resembling gold wings with a stone in the center of it. 'Faster than the speed of light he then gets his backpack and runs downstairs, only to be greeted by his grandmother, her Jolteon, and a Delphox.

"Buenos días Izaiah!" his grandmother says as she puts a bowl of cereal on the table. He then sits down full of gratitude,  "Morning Abuelita, morning Jolteon, morning Delphox," he says as he pets the Jolteon and hugs the Delphox. As if he hadn't eaten in days he devours the cereal hastily. "Is Harvest lab still open?" he asks as he cleans up the table. "It's still open but you need to hurry because it will close soon so try and get a move on mijo!" his grandmother tells him. "Ok I'll be on my way then," he says as he heads to the door petting Jolteon and hugging Delphox one last time. " Espere Espere Espere!!!" his grandmother says as she gets his attention and looks at him, "I love you mijo." she says then she smiles and waves goodbye, "love you too grandma," he says as he opens the door in front of him he looks behind him and waves back and runs off to the lab.

A FEW MINUTES LATER He arrives at the front of the lab out of breath with his hands on his knees. As he is catching his breath he sees some new trainers exit the lab with pokeballs in hand. A man with unkept mahogany red hair. Always looks like he just rolled out of bed. He wore a black tie, and a buttoned-up white lab coat, let out a group of new trainers. The man looked to be in his early 30s, "Ah Izaiah Garza you're finally here." the man said in a teasing voice. "Sorry, I'm late Professor Redwood." Izaiah said to the man "Apology accepted, but it seems that you're...too late." Redwood said to Izaiah with a worried expression.

"What do you mean professor?" He asks "Well it seems that all of the twenty-three starters that we had are now gone to other new trainers." Redwood explained. "THEY'RE ALL GONE!?" Izaiah shouted, "Do you not have any other pokemon?" he asked the professor. "...There is one pokemon we have here but-" Redwood was then abruptly interrupted by Izaiah. "I don't care, can you please take me to it, PLEASE?" he begs the Professor, "Very well. Come with me then," Redwood tells him with defeat in his voice.

Professor Redwood accompanied Izaiah into the laboratory proceeding into an endless hallway of departments. One of which was the health and wellness bay. Izaiah particularly appreciated this department for the services they provide pokemon and their trainers. As they walked further down they approached three large doors, each having distinct symbols. One door had a flame, the next a water drop, and the last a green leaf.

Then they enter a room, "Hey Paul can you come here please?" the Professor called out in the strange room, "I'm here Professor what do you need?" A boy comes into the room. The boy had black hair that was similar to the professor, a green jacket with the grey symbols of the League on each shoulder, brown pants, black sneakers, and a white belt that some ace trainers would wear. He looked to be about fifteen years old, about the same age as Izaiah. "Sir I thought we went through all the trainers for the day." the boy said to Redwood. The Professor introduces the two "Well first things first Paul this is Izaiah Garza. Izaiah this is my assistant Paul Cesar." Paul reaches his hand to shake Izaiah's hand "It's nice to meet you." Paul said to Izaiah, "Nice to meet you too." Izaiah replied.
