Chapter 7: Valley Green Town

(Hey guys Incineking here and I'm sorry for this VERY late chapter. Let's just say that with school and with moving and with the new YouTube channel I started I didn't have time to write and whatnot. Incineking 6/1/21

We return with our heroes approaching their next destination, Valley Green Town. There Paul can visit his family and Izaiah can get his second gym badge. That will bring Izaiah one step closer to the league.

"Hey, Paul are we almost there yet?" Izaiah asked as they kept walking on the route. Paul then walked in front of Izaiah causing him to stop suddenly. "Well, you got your answer. Look over there," Paul said as he pointed to Valley Green Town. It's about the same size as Trower Town. It was only a few miles away. "Alright let's get to it," Izaiah said as he and Paul both ran towards Valley Green Town.

AT VALLEY GREEN TOWN the trainers walked into the Pokecenter so that they could get something done already. "Excuse me, do you have any video phones?" Paul asked Nurse Joy as they were entering the Pokecenter. "Yes there are right over there," she said as she gestured towards the four that were against a wall. "Thank you," Paul said to Nurse Joy as the boys rushed to them and then started to contact the Professor. "Hello? Izaiah, Paul is that you?" Professor Redwood asked as he answered the video phone call, "Yeah, it's us, Professor Redwood." Paul answered. "Oh good then. Now you can tell me what took you so long to contact me." the professor said in a serious tone. "We're sorry that we did not contact you as soon as we got to Trower Town Professor Redwood," Paul said, sounding ashamed. "It's ok boys. I guess it's fine if you guys are safe. By the way, since you said that you passed Trower Town, where are you now?" the professor asked them as he took a sip of his coffee, "Well...we are at..." Paul hesitated to say because he thought if he said where they are it would upset him that it took them this long to contact him.

Izaiah noticed his friend's hesitation. "Sir we just arrived here at Valley Green Town," Izaiah said. The Professor nearly choked on his drink as he heard where they were. "Oh, so you guys are at Valley Green Town then..." Professor Redwood said as he put down the coffee and wiped his mouth. "Y-Yeah that is where we are and again sorry it took us this long to contact you. Please forgive us!" Paul begged the professor hoping that he would not get in trouble, "It's ok Paul. I forgive you boys. Now can you tell me what has happened since you left?" he asked them. Then Izaiah had an idea, "Well how about we show you." Izaiah suggested as he pulled out Riolu's pokeball. "You know that's a good idea," Paul said as he followed his example, going for Pidgey's pokeball. When they had their pokeballs they let out both Riolu and Pidgey so that they could meet the professor. "Ah, I see that you two have caught your first pokemon. Izaiah I see that you caught Riolu the emanation pokemon and Paul I see that you caught Pidgey the tiny bird pokemon. "Yeah, and Paul was the first to battle and catch a pokemon between us," Izaiah said trying to do his friend a solid by trying to make the professor more proud of Paul.

"Wow, that's great. Anyways, how is Litten doing?" the professor asked, "Oh right! Let me get him out real quick." Izaiah responded while he and Paul returned the pokemon back to their pokeballs. As he got Litten's pokeball out Izaiah let out the fire cat pokemon so that Professor Redwood could see who he was doing, as soon as Litten saw the Professor he tensed up with anger and ran up to Izaiah's shoulder. "Well...it seems that Litten still doesn't like me?" Professor Redwood said with a wide-eyed expression and his hand scratching the back of his head. "That's strange because when I and Litten were at the lab he was more hostile to me, you, and the other assistants. But when me and Izaiah started to go on this journey and became friends Litten was a bit less hostile to me." Paul said. "Then in that case I'll just mark that on my notes as 'sudden mood change' I guess." Redwood said as he was writing that down in a red notepad, "Anyways since you say that you're in Valley Green Town and have caught your first pokemon then that means you had some battles right? Not only in the wild or anywhere else but also in a gym battle in Trower Town. Tell me how Litten behaved in those battles." the professor requested Izaiah and Paul. "Well, when it comes to him battling it seems that all of his attacks he has more power to them than any other Litten. Another few things, Izaiah burning his battle with Mikey and later with another trainer we now know that Litten is capable of not only dynamaxing but also can execute a Z-move." Paul told the Professor with excitement.
