"Wanna come with? Everyone else has died except for us and these four," Gordon offered to the stray scientist he found in the dumpster, gesturing to the rest of his team. When he noticed that Benrey was gone though, he quickly scanned the room and questioned his absence.

Then, before you could react, Doctor Coomer snatched the Glock from your hand and shot the man in the dumpster.

"NOOOO! NO- WHY?!?" Gordon shouted, gripping his head from stress again.

"My clone!" Coomer answered and shoved your gun into his pocket.

...Guess it was his gun now. You supposed you didn't mind; if he needed it, then you weren't going to question him. Besides, your arms and legs held more firepower than any gun you've ever held, so you weren't worried about being unarmed.

While Gordon discussed with Doctor Coomer some more, you looked around the hallway. You could see Benrey hanging out in the fan room in front of the dumpster, but had no clue how he got in; it was barred off and he never asked you to remove the bars, so you were stumped.

A glint on the floor then caught your eye, and you wandered from the group to find what looked like a drain. It was in front of a barred off hallway and you could see into the sewer it led to if you peered inside. You pried off the drain and dropped down with a splash. You noted that the water you were now standing in didn't smell bad, which was nice; it must've just been a waterway instead of a sewer.

You blinked as a familiar cry reached your ears and turned around just in time to see a headcrab flying at your face. You reacted faster than you could process and slapped the headcrab into the wall next to you, splattering it like a fly under a swatter.

A sudden splash behind you made you turn and you met eyes with Tommy, who smiled at you before looking at the water.

"Oh, this stuff feels weird..." he mumbled to himself. He then started walking around the waterway, kicking the water and studying it with interest. You followed him, your head tilted in confusion; What was he doing?

"Y/N, help me test the viscosity of this water," he suddenly ordered, snapping his head up to stare at you, "Ju-Jump around and stuff!"

You nodded and did just that; You kicked the water, jumped around, and ran your hands through the liquid while Tommy watched and followed you. You watched in hidden fascination as the water turned into a wave when you skimmed your hand across it. The water was cool but not uncomfortably so, yet it felt oddly gelatinous for a liquid. You did it again and froze when you accidentally splashed Tommy, who let out a yelp of surprise. Immediately you panicked, straightening your posture and looking down at the ground apologetically.

"My- my apologies, Sir. It was an accident-"

You paused when Tommy just giggled, much to your surprise. You slowly relaxed your extremely tensed muscles but spluttered when the young scientist suddenly sent a wave of water back, some of it getting up your nose. Tommy let out a quiet snicker at your deadpan expression and kicked more water at you, a playful grin spreading across his face. "W-water fight! Oh boy!" he cheered, before bombarding you with more liquid attacks.

You coughed out the water and tried to back away, not wanting to hurt Tommy or have more of the liquid in your mouth. Luckily, he took notice of your hesitancy and gently spoke.

"You can splash me back, Y/N," he giggled, tilting his head, "It's called- It's a water fight for a reason!"

You blinked at his response before nodding and carefully kicking a small wave of water at him, not wanting to harm him. He laughed and splashed back.

The two of you eventually found yourselves running around the waterway, just throwing water at one another and trying to dodge each other's attacks. You felt something inside your chest stir, making you feel... lighter. You didn't want this moment to end, and something inside you knew you were going to be replaying it inside your head for a long time.
