Gianluca:
The walls in this hotel were thin. Like really really thin. Gianluca learnt this the first night of being there after he heard Arthur hyping himself up to finally talk to the person he was in love with. Arthur didn't use any names but Gianluca was fairly certain it was Lando. And he would be lying if he said a little bit of him hadn't died when he realised that.
But that's not what concerned Gianluca. No. It was rather his neighbours on the other side. A certain Dino Beganovic and Sebastian Montoya. All the Prema drivers were fairly good friends, but everyone knew that Dino and Sebas had special connection. Apparently more special than any of them had realised based off the soft whispers Gianluca could hear coming from the room. He didn't want to eavesdrop but at the same time he definitely wanted to eavesdrop. It's to tell Arthur, he justified to himself before pressing his ear gently to the wall.
"Do you even know how cute you look when you give me that face?" Dino softly giggled.
"But babyyy, I'm trying to sulk here," Sebastian said.
"It's only two weeks without me. You'll survive."
"No, I won't."
"Yes, you will."
"I really won't."
"Sebas, you're going to be fine. We can still face time every day." A short pause followed Dino's words.
"I'm not going to be fine." Dino huffed. Gianluca heard a faint thud before the two boys burst into giggles. A tickle fight, Gianluca guessed.
"I love you," Sebastian whispered into the room.
"I love you too, älskling," Dino quickly replied.
Gianluca pulled himself away from the wall. The pair were cute, he had to admit. He did feel a tad guilty for listening to their private conversation but at the same time, he couldn't wait to tell Arthur.
Connie (Sebastian's mum):
"Hi, you've reached Sebastian Montoya's phone please leave a mess-"
Connie hit the end call button when once more, the phone went to voicemail. She loved the kid, but man, Sebas annoyed her sometimes. He was supposed to be awake 15 minutes ago to shower and meet her for breakfast and yet here she was, standing in front of her door, patiently -or not so patiently- waiting for her only son to show up. She tapped her foot against the floor before spinning on her heel to enter her room. Connie guessed he was still asleep, so she grabbed his spare room key off her table and shut the door behind her. Lucky the hotel gave her the spare for just in case. Connie set off on her mission to locate her missing child.
