You ran through the smokey corridors of the now destroyed building of Hogwarts as you frantically searched for girlfriend Luna , you hadn't seen her since the start of the war and your adrenaline was pumping through your body , your fear of what could have happened had distracted you from your own wounds that consisted of a few scratches and bruises along your arms , legs and face but a rather worryingly deep gash in your stomach that had soaked your white shirt in a dark crimson red and stuck to your cut. You hissed as you moved the shirt up , momentarily pausing in the empty hallway to see the damage , the gash was wide and rather deep and had been coated in the dust from the rubble after you exposed it.
You sighed heavily and put your shirt back down and held your wound as you continued to quickly jog around the halls searching , you passed an entry way to a staircase and heard light sobbing that made your heart race even more , it was Luna's cries.
You ran towards the stairs and saw your girlfriend laying down on the steps holding her ankle in agony as you could see it was visibly broken and bleeding , you rushed to her side and held her face with your two hands as you tried your best to wipe away her salty tears but only managed to spread the blood from your wound on her face , you cringed at the sight and apologized.
"Shh my love it's okay , I'm here now. We'll get you help" you gently leaned your forehead against hers and kissed her nose lightly. "Is that your blood?' she asked gently as you looked down , almost embarrassed that you had gotten hurt. "It is but it looks much worse than it is , it's just a scratch honestly" you tried to assure her but you don't think she believed you. You walked back to the entry way and looked around for any sign of help , spotting nobody with time running out you decided you'd get Luna to the great hall yourself , you went back to her and gently wrapped one of her arms around your shoulders and grabbed her waist firmly before lifting her up to stand on her other leg, she whimpered and cried in agony and you felt your heart breaking as you listened to your loved one in pain , you lifted her off the ground as much as you could while still keeping her foot on the group to hop , you walked down the hall before you started to feel faint and your vision got blurry , you powered on as the feeling of dread consumed you , you knew what was happening but you couldn't stop now , you needed to get Luna help , you were dying.

Two boys ran out from the corner of another hall and held there wands up to you and Luna in panic , once they saw it was you two there wands lowered and they ran to you.

"Boys , take Luna to the hall she's broken her ankle badly and she needs help" Seamus and Dean gently took Luna's arms and helped her balance before Seamus saw your grip on your stomach as your blood soaked hands trembled , your knees shook gently as you struggled to stand up , tears fell from your eyes as you nodded to Seamus proudly and filled with security as you knew Luna was going to be okay. "What about you y/n?" He said as his voice cracked as he tried not to cry Infront of Luna. "Save her first Seamus...come back for me later" you gave him a knowing look to singal that there was no later for you. His eyes glossed over before giving you a weak smile and a firm nod. He knew as well as you did , he wouldn't see you again alive. You watched teary eyed as the boys carried Luna around the corner and to the great hall. You fell to your knees as you sobbed quietly as you neared the end , your vision was getting brighter as you toppled over to lay on your side as your wound spit out the last of your blood onto the cold stone floors of your home.
You heard Hermione scream your name as she rushed over , Dean and Seamus ran from the hall to get to you but it was too late , as your eyes shed there final tear and your body felt its final life , you closed your eyes with a faint smile and drifted to a peaceful sleep.
Luna was safe....that's all that mattered to you , she will live.
