My family was pretty normal, for the most part. My older sister Nymphadora is six years older than me. Our mother is what is called a Pureblood Witch, our dad is non magical Muggle man. My mother was actually exiled from her family for marrying my father, but she didn't care. To her it was worth it.

When Dora went off to school, she would write home and she made it sound like she was at the best place on Earth. She was sorted into a school house called Hufflepuff House. She said everyone there was kind, and they accepted her and her weirdness right away. She became very close with a boy from Gryffindor House named Charlie Weasley and his older brother Bill while she was at Hogwarts School for Witchcraft and Wizardry as well. They became best friends very fast.

My mum remembered Charlie's parents from her days at school, even though they weren't friends. She said that she remembered that Molly Prewett and Arthur Weasley were both very nice. After their first year of school, Charlie had invited Dora to come to the Burrow and spend the day with him, and that my parents and I were allowed to come too. My parents allowed this, and we went to visit the Weasley family for the day at their home.

There were seven Weasley children, and I quickly realized how much that the Weasley family all looked alike. They were all red-haired, and pale with freckles. Some of them were tall and very thin, some of them were more stocky and shorter. It was odd for me to see a family that shared so many physical features because I never felt like I looked like anyone in my family.

My hair is a pale, white blonde, that lays pin straight and I keep it long. My face is more round, unlike my mother and sister who have a heart shaped face. I didn’t look like my mother and my sister and I certainly didn't get my looks from my father's side. Mother says I get my looks from her younger sister, Narcissa, who I have never met. I just feel like an outsider in my family, I always have. Sometimes I wish I could change my appearance at will like my sister can. That way I could finally feel like I belong in my family.

The Weasley’s had seven children, Bill was the oldest and then there was Charlie. Percy is three years younger than Charlie, and Fred and George were two years younger than Percy and they're a year older than me. Then two years later they had Ron and a year later they had Ginny.

Since they were only one year older than me, I became very close with the Weasley twins very quickly. They were wild, and fun, and I enjoyed watching them make things explode and play pranks on their siblings. I liked them mainly because I grew up with Nymphadora, who was clumsy and also very wild and fun, but the twins were on an entire different level from her.

The Weasley twins were very nice to me right from the moment we met. They walked right up to me, said hello, introduced themselves, and then asked if I wanted to go up to their room and play Exploding Snap with them. I said I didn't really know how to play that game, but they said they would teach me, and they did. We have all been best friends since then. My mum and Mrs. Weasley joked that I was their long lost, blonde triplet because we spent so much time together.

When it finally came time for me to go to Hogwarts myself, Fred and George had already been there for a year. I was scared that I may be sorted into Slytherin House, because of my family's history with Slytherin House. Despite their reputation of having Witches and Wizards go bad, I knew that being in Slytherin House did not mean I was guaranteed to be evil or something like that, my mother was in Slytherin House when she was at school and she's as good as they can come. I just wanted to be with either my sister in Hufflepuff or Fred and George and their brothers in Gryffindor.

When Professor McGonagall called out, "Tonks, Evangeline," during my sorting and I walked up to the stoll and placed the sorting hat onto my head, I knew that there were three different houses I could be sorted into. I was surprised when the sorting hat called out that I was to be in Gryffindor House. I walked right over to the Gryffindor table proudly and Fred and George greeted me with big hugs.

Percy and Charlie greeted me warmly and welcomed me to Gryffindor House. Charlie was in his seventh and final year at school, so was my sister, and Percy was in his fourth year. Dora came over to the Gryffindor table during dinner and hugged me and told me she was proud of me and she couldn't wait to tell mum I was sorted into Gryffindor House. She made Charlie promise that he would look after me, and he did.

Even though my mother's family has a long history in Slytherin House, I wasn't the first person in my family who was in Gryffindor House. My mum had a cousin who was in Gryffindor House. She never told me his name though. He was also exiled from the family for defying them and their beliefs, but that's  all that I know about him. Mum won't tell me anything else.

Fred and George showed me around the castle. They showed me all of the secret passageways that they discovered on a magical map they found during their first year here. I was so glad that they had shown me around otherwise would have been so lost. I became attached to their hips you could say, even more so than I already was.

The professors picked up on this very quickly. They knew that if they saw me that they would see Fred and George walking on either side of me. The only time we weren't together the three of us was when we were in class or if they were at Quidditch practice, but since Charlie was the Captain of the Gryffindor Quidditch Team he allowed me to sit in on practices and watch them while I did homework in the stands at the same time.

Ron Weasley came to school the next year, and he was also sorted into Gryffindor House with us along with a boy named Harry Potter. Harry Potter was very famous in the Wizarding World. He was the only person ever to survive the Killing Curse. Everyone that was raised with magic knows his story. How a man who went by the name Lord Voldemort tried to kill Harry when he was a year old, and how he successfully killed Harry’s parents, but he couldn't kill Harry. No one knows why, either. Harry was just a child, and he was more famous than everyone in this school. Ron became best friends with Harry quickly, which was very cool for Ron.

I also had a cousin that started the same year that Ron did. His name was Draco Malfoy, he was in Slytherin House, and he was the son of my mother's youngest sister, Narcissa. The same sister my mum tells me that I look like. I caught Draco also sneaking looks at me every so often. If I do look like his mother, it must be odd for him to see me here at school. He was a prat though, and he hated Harry for no reason. If I ever heard him saying anything nasty to Harry I would always make a snarky comment back to him on Harry's behalf and I always reminded him I was his cousin. He hated that so much, it was so easy to make him angry.

That was two years ago that Ron started at Hogwarts. Percy is now in his seventh and final year at school, and he's been made Head Boy on top of his Prefect status. Fred and George were in their fifth year this year, I’m in my fourth year, Ron, Harry, and their friend Hermione were now in their third year, and Ginny Weasley was in her second year of school.

Over the Summer Holidays I figured out why my mother never told me about her cousin that was sorted into Gryffindor House. Her estranged cousin Sirius Black has become the first person to ever escape from Azkaban Prison. He was very dangerous and my mother was worried about me going back to school in case he decided to come after me. Apparently he is going to try to go after Harry, and he is the reason that Harry’s parents are dead. He sold them out to Lord Voldemort. I understand why my mum never told me about him before.

The day before we left for school, I was sent to the Leaky Cauldron at Diagon Alley to spend the night with the Weasley’s and Hermione. The Weasley’s had just come back from visiting Bill in Egypt, where he worked as a Curse Breaker. Apparently Harry has been here at the Leaky Cauldron for two whole weeks. He ran away from his Muggle Aunt and Uncle after having a big blow out fight with them and he's been here since.

Hermione had her own room at the Leaky Cauldron and I was sharing a room with Ginny. I didn't mind sharing with her at all, because I usually share her bedroom with her when I stay at the Burrow. I spent the day with Fred and George of course, and they told me all about their family trip to Egypt that they took this summer to visit Bill.
