Chapter 3 - First Unexpected Day in Cancun

DAY 1

NAVYA

I wake up at 6 am and change into my workout attire. I see Mara, awake and drinking coffee in the living room. "I'm going down to the fitness center. Tony will be with me." I tell her.

She nods and I leave the room and go downstairs to the fitness center. There I see Tony waiting for me by the entrance. "Ranveer?"

"Mara is with him. Ready?"

"Yep." Tony is my trainer and he helps me with my workouts as a human and werewolf. I do lunges and lift weights, and after finishing those, I take a break. I sit down on the side and take sips of my water and scroll through my social media.

"Hi, Navya." I look up and see Lucy, and the man standing next to her is the same one who I saw in the plane. "Hi, Lucy." I get up on my feet.

"You have a business and workout? You must be a superwoman," She says. "I try to balance a healthy lifestyle."

"And that's good. Oh, by the way, this is my fiance, Logan. Logan, this is Navya." He shakes his hands with me. "It's a pleasure to meet you, Navya." Whoa, British accent.

"Same here, Logan."

"Well I won't bother you and we'll get back to our workout session. See you around," Lucy says. "Yeah see you." They both walk away and at the same time, Tony walks back to me and he has an alarming look as he is walking by them.

"What did they want?" He asks. "Nothing."

"First we see them on the plane, and now you run into them here. This can't be a coincidence," Tony says.

"Tony, you're overthinking. Relax. Plus, she's really sweet. Come on, let's finish the rest of the workout."

We continue and in a matter of twenty minutes, I finish the treadmill and core workout exercises. I take a big gulp of water and we both go up the elevator and back to our rooms.

As soon as I reach my room and open the door, Mara wasn't in the living room. I panic a little, but it subsides when I see her playing with Ranveer. He turns to see me and beams. "Mama!" He stretches his arms out.

"Wait beta. I'm not smelling very good. Let Mama take a shower and I'll come to you, ok?" He nods and I grab a pair of clean clothes, a towel, strip down, enter the shower stall, and close the door.

I turn on the water and let it run down my body. I wash with soap, wash my hair, and rinse the soap suds off my body. I turn off the water, wipe myself down with a towel, wrap the long towel around my body, and walk out of the shower stall.

Mara was not in the room but Ranveer was lying on the bed, playing with his toys. I quickly apply lotion and antiperspirant and put on my clothes for the day. I walk over to Ranveer and pick him up.

"Ok buddy, let's go and have breakfast." Ranveer claps his hand in excitement and suddenly, he starts wiggling his legs. "You want to get down?" He whines a little, giving me his answer.

I put him down on his legs and he stops whining and a smile appears on his face. I hold onto his hand. "You hold Mama's hand and don't let go, ok?"

"Ok." We walk out of the room and Mara walks behind us. The three of us get into the elevator and go down to the lobby. We enter The Market and see Tony sitting at a corner booth. I also a waitress talking to him.

"Hello." We walk over to the booth and Tony had a look of annoyance and the waitress turned around to face me. She looked like to be about 5'6, with black hair, and a tan skin tone. She also looked annoyed.
