Everything happened in slow motion and suddenly, Liam shifts into his wolf Gaige halfway, leaves my side, and is about to pounce on Alpha Joseph but the wolves of his pack stopped him and pushed him toward me. Liam lost his footing and I caught hold of him before he tumbled to the ground.
Cora: How dare he?
Navya: Cora, calm down
Cora: Don't tell me to calm down, I'll give this wolf the piece of my mind
Navya: Let me think
Cora: What's there to think?! Say no!
I try to calm down my wolf but she is livid and I don't blame her for that. Because only she and I know what Jasper has done to us.
"I swear to the Goddess, if you weren't the alpha, I would've killed you and fed you to the vultures!" Liam shouts at Alpha Joseph.
"Thank you for giving me this opportunity, Alpha Joseph," Victoria smiles in triumph.
"Anything for my niece," Alpha Joseph smirks evilly and turns to me. "So, junior Luna Navya Sharma Mummah, do you accept the punishment? Remember that by accepting this punishment, you can avoid this war."
I know that Liam is looking at me with tears in his eyes and I try my best to avoid looking at him. I look up at Alpha Joseph and say, "I'd rather kill myself than spend a night with a stranger and my mate with Victoria. I do not accept."
Alpha Joseph chuckles. "Alpha, please give me permission and I will kill this wimp of a Luna and take this hunk all for myself!" Victoria says.
"I'll say this again; if you lay a hand on him, you won't have a hand!" I threaten her.
"You dare to threaten me!" Victoria gets in my face.
"Yes, I do! And I'll burn you alive just like how I burnt your brother, bitch!" I shout in her face.
"I dare you to try!"
"Oh trust me, I will!" I could feel the boiling point of anger go past the line and I saw a flicker of reddish-orange flash in my eyes and a look of fear showed on Victoria's face.
"Quiet!" Alpha Joseph shouts and we both look at him. "If you dare to burn my niece, then I won't waste a second to kill you, Navya. Jasper! She's all yours."
"You cannot touch her!" Lucas exclaims and Liam stands in front of me as a shield. To the right, a wolf growls and emerges as a grown man with clothes, and I recognize him as Jasper. The same 5'11 stature, brown hair, chocolate brown eyes, and muscular body, but the only difference is that he has a faint beard.
"We meet again, Navya," Jasper says.
"I'll never forget the moment that you tried to take advantage of me when I went into heat," I recall the painful memory.
"He tried to what?!" Liam exclaims.
"Not now, Liam," I tell him.
"And before anything could happen, Victor reached there, unfortunately. But now, I will fulfill my desire and you will continue to please me until I stop you," Jasper says evilly. His eye contact with me disgusts me, but then he switches to Liam. "Oh! Liam Mummah, Navya's second mate, what a pleasant surprise. I hate to break it to you but this won't be a threesome. Navya is mine."
Jasper raises his left hand and flicks to the left, and Liam goes flying to the other room, making contact with the wall, and tumbles to the ground. "Liam!" I shout for him as I see him on the ground and the wolves put him in silver shackles.
