"Urgh, excluding today we have 4 days of school left this week."

Temari sighed as she buckled her seatbelt. It wasn't everyday you would hear temari complain about school since she was often determined to do well.

"You are beginning to sound more and more like Shikamaru." Her younger brother stated. Temari shot a cold glare toward Kankuro through the rear view mirror.
"I'm just saying this time of year isn't fun. Unlike you I have college entrance exams to ace. Maybe if you had been through the gruelling process you could speak but you haven't so I'd suggest shutting up for a while!"
Temari didn't mean to sound rude to her younger brother however she wasn't lying. Right now she was more stressed than usual and she didn't need to hear the slightest comments (digs) from anyone.

"Where is Gaara! I'm going to be late if he doesn't show up soon. Father, the time?"
"It's almost 8:40"
Temari let out an agressive sigh. Gaara came stumbling out of their house dropping his books and pencils along the way. His hair was messy and he hadn't even put on his shoes correctly. Temari rolled down her window and yelled at him to hurry up. Gaara really didn't mean to aggravate his sister but he couldn't help waking up late. It was an accident however there was a part of him that would've preferred staying at home while everyone else was out.

On the ride to school Gaara's father lectured him about proper manners and punctuality. From time to time temari would also chip in with a remark about how it was selfish or unfair to her. Kankuro had his earphones in and was staring out of the window.

Finally they arrived at school. Temari waved before she ran off to her classroom. Gaara also left as quickly as possible heading straight for his homeroom. Although it wasn't his favourite class he appreciated that he sat in the far corner of the class. It was on the third floor of the school so he had a nice view of the outside from his seat.

On his way Gaara bumped into a fellow student who was also a first year. It was already December however Gaara didn't think there was any need for him to become friends with everyone. Gaara tried to apologise for his mistake but before he could the boy jumped onto his hands and knees and began doing push-ups.
" I am so sorry - one - I.. was not paying -two- attention - three- I will be careful from now on"
The boy continued doing push-ups and counting them in the hallway , which was now attracting more attention from passing students. Gaara felt embarrassed so he quickly left the scene. He didn't like attention at all. This made him less aware of his surroundings and as a result he had ended up with no friends for most of the year.
