A love that lasts forever

Kiego's pov:

I can't wait for tonight. Me and y/n have been dating for a few years and tonight is the night. I got dressed into a new suit and I put a dress on y/n's bed for her. "Babe I put your outfit on the bed for you!" I yelled so she could hear me over the shower. I put the ring in my pocket and continued to get ready.

A few minutes later y/n came out of the bathroom wrapped in a towel and went to change into the dress. She didn't notice me until after her towel was off. "Nice view baby bird~" she jumped and threw a pillow at me. "Don't scare me like that!" She huffed and put her dress on. "Aw I'm sorry baby" I said as I pulled her close and kissed her. She happily kissed back and hugged me.

We hugged for a few minutes. "Ok now go finish getting ready" I chuckled and let go. "Noooooo" she protested and hugged me tighter. "C'mon baby you have too" she pouted and went her vanity and did her makeup. It was mesmerising to watch. "You're so beautiful y/n" "Awe thank you baby" she said and showed a soft smile.

Once she was ready I picked her up and flew away to a special spot that only we knew about. She held onto me as we flew. We finally got there and I set her down on a picnic table. I set up a nice picnic under the stars for us.

Y/n's pov:

Hawks set me down on a picnic table and he fixed his suit. "So why did we have to get all dressed up to come have a picnic?" I asked curiously. "It's a secret" he answered and I huffed. "Well lets eat then I'm hungry" I said as I slid off the table and down onto the bench. We ate our food and talked and joked. It was amazing. I loved spending time with him. "Y/n close your eyes" I tilted my head in confusion. "Ok?" I closed my eyes and felt myself being led somewhere.

I heard fireworks go off. "Open your eyes baby bird" I heard Hawks say so I looked out at the fireworks. "This is amazing!" I watched as a stream of fireworks went off, spelling something out. "Will.. You.. Marry.. Me ?" I read out as the words faded. "Babe do you-" I look next to me to see Hawks down on one knee holding a ring. My hands flew over my mouth as I took a second to comprehend what's happening.

"Baby bird, these last few years have been the best years of my life. You've helped me so much and you've shown so much love." I felt my eyes tear up. "And you've been there for me through it all. Thanks to you I'm happier then I've ever been and I want that forever. So, will you make me the happiest and luckiest bird alive and marry me?" At this point I was crying. I shook my head yes and kissed him deeply. I had never felt so happy.

We shared a deep and loving kiss as the fireworks continued to go off.

I finally had it.

My happily ever after.
