No one could have ever seen this coming. The Undefeated were pretty much defeated, tainting their name in sorrow, and they could only watch as their leader was beaten to a pulp. When he got back up, he managed to counter Titanusatan's next attack, and kept the fight going for a bit longer. He was covered in scars and his armour was looking worse for wear, but it was enough to give him at least some protection. Arsène has had enough, and set himself alight. Everyone, excluding Titanusatan, stepped back and hid behind the debris. But the explosion was delayed as Arsène was charging his power to its maximum devastation. After 5 minutes of nothing but extreme heat, Arsène finally let himself blow, sending piercingly hot flames everywhere within a 100km radius, completely and utterly obliterating everything in his sight, with Titanusatan no where to be seen. Once he was cool enough to be touched, the others came out and approached him. They noticed that the burnt pattern on his face was smouldering a red colour, and they also noticed how drained Arsène was after that move.
"Are you ok!?" Maria asked in a panic.
"I'm *cough* ok. Just a little *pant* drained." He coughed out.
"Easy now, sweetie, you're completely drained." Maria soothingly stated.
"Mm." Arsène muttered. As they were slowly helping Arsène to a resting spot, a certain demon jumped up, trying to strike them dead, when Arsène broke through his fatigue and countered his enemy's assault.
"When will you give up?!" He shouted angrily.
"When my universe is born." Titanusatan replied emotionlessly, and he dashed forwards, with Arsène responding in kind, aiming to kill, but because of his injuries and fatigue, he was easily hit and shot back. He recovered, and dashed back to his foe, and broke through his pain.
"I'm gonna send you to your hell if it's the last damn thing I DO!" He screamed. With his fist engulfed, his arm darted forward and smacked Titanusatan right i the chest, launching him away... before he returned and hit Arsène down to the floor, and, like a missile, flew down to finish the job, but he evaded just in time and threw his nemesis a few meters away. Now it was a battle of the Elements. Crimson Fire against Blue Magma, and it was fierce. As their streams collided, there was an explosion in the middle powerful enough to blow the rest of the team back a few steps. Arsène was miraculously starting to overwhelm Titanusatan, but that was quick to be countered and the blue magma was closing the gap rather fast. Arsène put more power into his flames, but it wasn't enough to counter. Toshiro noticed this and dashed in at lightning speed to help him, but he was too late. The magma and fire exploded, and he was caught in the blast. It cleared after about a minute it was so massive, and the team unshielded their eyes, only to see Titanusatan laughing, with The Fallen Brothers nowhere to be seen. Maria gasped while the others widened their eyes.
"No. No no no NO! This can't be!" She said in a panic and rushed to where the brothers were standing, only to see Arsène's chest-plate, burnt, chipped and dented. Tears immediately welled up in the teams eyes, while Maria was in absolute hysterics.
"H-h-he c-c-can't be gone!. He can't!" She screamed as she cried into Fenrir's shoulder, as he was the nearest friend.
"I know, I don't believe it either, but I'm afraid we must return to the city and inform Mae about this before we pursue Titanusatan." He said softly, noticed that Titanusatan had indeed, disappeared. Maria and the others sniffled.
"Ok." Was all she said as Fenrir lifted her gently and dashed with the others back to Mae, who was oblivious to the sudden disaster that struck. It was going to be a long and hard journey, and they had even less time to save the universe. We can only hope that they can succeed in his wake. Little did they know, was that things were different to what they thought...
