Alessandro's POV:

The long corridors are crowded with small, weak humans, 'they're all shouting and laughing like lunatics at nothing', I silently judge them with disgust, 'what a waste of time, it's not like they have any, their lives are short and fragile', I pick up my pace not spending anymore time, trying to locate her.

While I walk ahead, a strange and unexplainable tugging and tingling leads me forward, almost like I must go there immediately, it feels uncanny and strange, but it's unmistakably powerful, I have the urge to use my supernatural speed to go there but I refrain myself, there are humans watching. Trying to block it out, I continue my search down the hallways, and then I smell it, the well defined and distinct scent of a hunter, it lingers around the hallways like a serpent prowling for around for its prey, except now, it was the one that had become the prey.

My nose being my guide towards the loathsome hunter, and I start nearing her, but just like the scent becomes more apparent, the tingling gets 'louder' as well, 'it must be coming from the stupid hunter', I analyse, maybe it's just my instinct forewarning me of any danger, I'll have to ask one of the Elders about it after this mission...

My senses cloud as the buzzing in my limbs becomes more apparent, it's exactly how a vampire that was starved from blood would feel like, out of control.

One foot in front of the other, I quietly draw myself nearer to her for some unfathomable reason, the smaller the space becomes between us, the more intense the tingling gets, the strange feeling over-comes my senses, creating a dark blanket around me, and before I know it, I'm standing just behind the hunter, her back inches away from me, the space between us feeling tight yet still so far away.

She abruptly slams the metal door shut and turns around, walking right into me with a grunt, I snap out of the trance that I was unaware I had fallen into as if a bucket of ice cold water had been thrown at me, as soon as she comes into contact with me, the tingling stops and everything feels quiet despite the loud humans around us, neither of us move for a second, and afraid of her sensing what I am, I intervene,

"Uh, do you mind?", my smooth voice interrupts her thoughts, I'm surprised about how steady it sounds.

She takes a slight step back and I could almost feel the hunter's eyes sear burning holes into my skin, I notice that she is a whole foot shorter than me, my shadow envelops her, giving her a mysterious air, her auburn hair rests on her shoulders, her piercing eyes project uncertainty and weariness.

"Oh, I'm sorry, it was totally my fault for randomly standing behind you like a creep!" she snarks at me, I simply raise an eyebrow.

An exasperated look overcomes her once drowsy features as she pushes her small hands against my chest causing me to astoundingly stumble a couple of steps back. Burning anger floods my nerves at the realization of her actions, I silently rage, vampire instincts move my body for me, I slide into a basic fighting stance and tense awaiting my chance to retaliate.

She just stands there looking at me in confusion, growing impatient, I snarl at her, but immediately stop, she might figure out my true identity, 'she isn't dumb, or else she would have been dead by now', she tenses up and I can hear her heart start to beat faster in anticipation, bending her knees forwards, she curls her fists and her face falls blank.
