Stepping out of the chemistry classroom, I could feel the after effects of taking a 1 hour exam, the disorientation crashes on my shoulders like heavy waves, chemistry happened to be last period, so I head to my locker to gather my stuff.

The hallways are crowded with students, laughter and chatter fills the halls, people are shouting and pushing each other around; a typical end of day scene in high school.

I hurriedly pile all my books into my bag from my locker and slam the metal door shut, locking it.  I take a step back and turn around, only to slam into a cold stone wall, it seems oddly familiar, hold up, It wasn't a wall I hit, it was a-

'Uh, do you mind?' A smooth velvety voice halts my thoughts, a hint of annoyance lacing it.

I take a step back and look at the speaker, he towers above me, almost in a menacing way, long locks of velvety black hair cover his head, some strands hiding his eyes, he had this secretive aura, his eyes were glacier blue, the pupils were dilated, in surprise, and in something else, something autumn couldn't put a finger on.  His lips were thin and pale, almost blending in with his pastey, pale skin, all those features together made him look dead, or like he was locked in a cellar for a long, long time.  It was strange, she had seen many people with the same looks as him, and they looked completely fine, but he was different, he just looked... dead.

'Oh, I'm sorry, it was totally my fault for randomly standing behind you like a creep!' I stupidly reply back, sarcastic.

He just raises an eyebrow at me.

I'm totally blaming the chemistry test for what I did next, I push him back, hard.

He takes a couple of steps back in surprise, but then immediately moves into a fighting stance, his figure tensing up, I look at him dumb-founded for a few seconds, but I could have sworn that I heard a low, threatening growl erupt from him for half a second.

So I hesitantly follows his actions, really not looking forward to this, I ball my fists up besides my now blank face.

We stay still for a while, analyzing each opening, more to escape in my case, but that random guy obviously more to attack, other students have noticed the commotion and were starting to crowd around us creating a big circle, I don't even know what his problem is.

I decide to make the first move, so I pounce, trying to get past him, but the slight tick of my body tells him all about what I'm doing before it even happens, he easily dodges me and I almost slams head first into a wall.

'How could I make a mistake like that?' I think, slightly irritated now.

Just then, he launches his fist at my face, I stop it with an open palm and glare at him, his face remains expressionless, the  small crowd of students stare in awe at the fight, a few shouting random things, a few had took out their phones and started recording.

I push his hand away and deliver a sharp upper-cut to his jaw, his head bounces back and as he takes a couple of steps back from the force, he manages to sweep at my ankles though, I fall and painfully hit my elbow on the ground with a revolting crack.

He looks at me in surprise, his eyes wide in shock, giving me a perfect opening to kick him on just the right spot of his knee, causing him to collapse to the floor, I then jump up, my broken arm dangling to my side, forgotten, and throw out a punch towards him, it lands right on his cheek-bone, and another punch which also successfully lands on his eye, I try once more but he catches my fist and starts to squeeze, threatening to make another injury, I try to pull away, but his grip is too strong, and just when I was sure my hand was about to fall apart, I am forcefully pulled back by strong, cold arms, I turn my head and glimpse the chemistry teacher, he looks outraged.

As the adrenaline starts to wear off, my elbow starts to excruciatingly throb, it gradually gets more painful until it is too unbearable, I don't even notice as the teacher sits me down on the ground, my back to a wall, it was like I was locked in an invisible cocoon, I haven't broken my elbow before, but it hurts as much as a knee.

The world starts dimming around me, I can hear a faint buzzing sound that soon becomes deafening to my ears, I starts to loose feel of myself, I feel numb and empty, I can still feel the throb in my injured elbow, but it seems distant and I feel disturbingly unattached to my body.

'It's your first day and you are already causing trouble, ِAlessandro, this is unacceptable, come to my office right away, you seem to be unscathed', I hear the school principle scold someone, must be the person I just got into a petty fight with, I'm sure I hurt him though, at least a little...

That was the last thing I think of before I faded into darkness.
