Now she knows

The next morning I woke up and immediately started getting ready. I was so excited to tell Skye and Tina about last night! It took me about two minutes to get ready, and I was not lying when I said I was so excited. I ran down the stairs and down the hall. I finally made it to Skye's room and I knocked on the door. "Just a second." Said a very drowsy Skye. She opened the door and said "oh hi (Y/N)! what brings you here?" "Before I tell you anything I need to know if Tina is here too." I replied. Tina and Skye spend the night together often so it should be pretty likely for her to be here. "Nope, sorry she isn't here." Skye told me rubbing away at her eyes. "Well there is something I need to tell you both! I think you guys will like it. So get ready and meet me at the break room!" I said enthusiastically. Skye looked eager. I could tell she was hoping it had something to do with me and Midas, considering I told her I was going to confess to him. She immediately shut the door and ran to her wardrobe and grabbed some clothes, ran into the restroom, and sped out ready to hear the news. We ran to Tina's room and knocked on the door. There was no response, so we knocked once more. Again, no response. "She must not be here" Skye said looking at me with an upset expression. "Well maybe she is already in the break room?" I asked the both of us. We ran down to the break room to find Tina sitting there eating a granola bar. "Tina! Tina!" Me and Skye shouted sprinting towards her. "Whoa guys chill, what's up?" Tina said in a calm manner. Me and Skye sat down and I told them everything. They both starred at me in awe. "Oh my god, THAT IS SO CUTE!!!!" They both exclaimed. I knew it, they started fangirling again. It's nothing new for them, they tease me about crushing on Midas all of the time, so this time was no different, except for the classic "(Y/N) and Midas sitting in a tree! K-I-S-S-I-N-G!!"  That was different because we actually had kissed. So they didn't sing it this time. I could barely hear my own thoughts over their squealing. "Guys calm down!" I shouted over their high pitched screaming. They calmed down and we decided to go get some more granola bars to hold us off until breakfast. Tina walked over to the pantry and then said, "guys, I think we've got a problem." What could possibly go wrong in the break room? "We are out of granola bars." Tina said looking in the back of the pantry. "WE RAN OUT?!" Me and Skye yelled. Thank goodness nobody woke up. "We will just have to go grab some more from the kitchen." Tina mumbled turning to us. We made our way to the kitchen, which thankfully was not that far from where we were. "I still can't believe you and Midas actually got together!" Skye said as we were walking over to the kitchen. "Heh yeah. We normally just did it as a friendly tease but you two sound so cute together." Tina said smiling at me. Of course I smiled back.

Maya POV

I was in the corner of the kitchen drinking some Mountain Dew. It was pretty good and cold so that made it more enjoyable. It was kinda dark until Skye, Tina, and (Y/N) walked in talking about- Midas? " I still can't believe you and Midas actually got together!" Skye told (Y/N). "What on earth do they mean?" I asked myself. Not long after I realized what was happening. I told that little punk to stay away from Midas and now look where we are. Oh my dear "friend", I'm not sorry about this. I lunged out at them grabbing their head. Everyone started screaming as I slammed them against the counters. (Y/N)'s nose was bleeding and I was enjoying it. They should have just left M alone, but no! They had to mess with us! I repetitively kept slamming their head up against the counters and cabinets. Tina and Skye were trying to hold me back but they were basically powerless. I punched them in the stomach and yelled, "YOU SHOULDN'T HAVE DONE THIS!!!" I was so angry that I felt like crushing them. It was satisfying watching them in pain. "I heard screaming!! Is everything oka-" Midas yelled coming into the kitchen. I knew in that moment I was so done for. "Maya! What is the meaning of this?!" He yelled pushing me aside, running to (Y/N). They were bleeding and had many bruises. I could tell Midas was extremely angry. The gold on his arms spread when he is angry and I saw golden spots all over him. He was trembling and shaking in what I was assuming was anger. "Pack your bags Maya." Midas said in a monotone voice. "WHAT?! They started it-" "PACK YOUR BAGS!!!" Midas cut me off. I have never heard him yell so loud, I have heard his stern voice but this was extremely different.
"Okay okay!!! Like I care. I was only here to sit around and watch Netflix all day anyways." I said, trying to get my point across to him, that I didn't care. I finally packed up all of my belongings, and headed out sticking my tongue out at Midas as I walked out.

Goodness, that was heated. That was a 0 to 100 real quick. So anyways, have a great day or night! I'm sorry I haven't posted 😅
