It was Saturday and Amanda was setting in her room around her laptop editing the presentation of the periodic table. She had spent the while hour trying to design each slide so that it can catch the eye of the readers
" sweetheart" mercy called peeping her head through carck of the door " you have a guest "
" but I didn't invite any body " Amanda looked at mercy confused with a raised eyebrow
" I think you should come see for yourself"
Exhaling Amanda got up from around her desk walking with her mother downstairs seeing nobody
" where the guest!" Amanda asked with a confused look
" outside " mercy answered with a weird smile on her face
" you left the guest outside, wow mom. That's a real welcoming of you"
As Amanda walked towards the door she turned the lock looking outside seeing a rage rover parked in the drive way but no owner. Stepping outside she look to the right of the porch seeing Jayson seated looking into her daylight.
" well know I know why my mom was acting so weird" Amanda scoffed pulling up the door as she walked towards Jayson " I thought I was suppose to be coming to your house to finish off the presentation "
" well I'm not here for the presentation "
" then what are you here for?"
" to bring you back your scrunchy, you left it my house" Jayson replied pulling out Amanda's blue scrunchy
Taking the scrunchy from Jayson Amanda gave him an odd look " you came all the way hear to bring back my scrunchy? "
" yeah"
" well couldn't it have wait until I got to your house tonight?"
" I won't be at my house tonight " Jayson replied getting up from the chair that was place on the porch
" what?"
" I'm heading out of town for the weekend, I won't be back until Monday "
" Jayson, the project is due on Monday. How are we suppose to work together if your gone?" Amanda questioned with frustration in her voice
" I'm sorry Amanda, but you have no idea how much I need to get out of this town"
" really" Amanda scoffed folding her arms " you have to get out of town that bad, you will put your garde and mines on the line. Dont you see how selfish your being right now?" Amanda yelled angry
Jayson didn't know why Amanda was acting so extra about the situation. He needed the time off from the community because its just too much for him.
" I mean , if you cared about the project that bad you could join me" Jayson insisted as Amanda's eyes widen
" no way in hell I will be going out of town with you"
" suit yourself " Jayson ended the conversation as he walked off
" wait" Amanda yelled as Jayson was about to open his car door " give me a few minutes" Amanda continued going inside the house.
Amanda rushed upstairs packing a small bag with cloths and her toiletries, she knew her mother wouldn't deny her from going out with Jayson because they both knew that he was responsible
" mom, I'm going out for the weekend"
" and when will you be back" mercy questioned folding her arms
" Monday after school, I promise I won't drink or get high. I'm only going with him because I need the garde for chemistry "
" fine, but no funny business mercy storm out with a warning gaze on Amanda
" no funny business " Amanda replied with a smile heading to the door. " love you "
" I love you too, safe trip"

It was half and hour left till midnight and Jayson was still driving, Amanda had no clue when he said out of town he really meant out of town.
They had stopped four time since the journey to get food and to use the bathroom.
It was a long and silent drive for both Amanda and Jayson, Amanda kept texting on her phone while Jayson had his eyes focused in the road. No music No commutation, just the sound of Amanda's keyboard as she typed.
Jayson made a turn off into a rocky road as Amanda cell signal when off
" there's no cell service here " Jayson broke the silence as Amanda scoffed
" great, you took me to the pits of hell"
" more like a huge hotel with fancy food and rich people" Jayson smiled
" ahh yes, the rich snobs acting like they rule all poor people" Amanda's voice mocked as Jayson smiled
" bingo"
Pulling up in the parking lot, Amanda gasped at the huge hotel in front if her. Behind all the buses were something more beautiful than the beach.
" wow "
" wow indeed" Jayson smiled taking the keys out of his car " lets go"
As both Amanda and Jayson walked inside the building to the check in area they were immediately greeted by the door man.
" may I take your bags?"
Smiling Amanda gave the man her small bag continuing her walk behind Jayson
" Jayson, long time no see" the receptionist smiled as she started typing into the computer
The receptionist was a small bodied girl in her late thirties, she and small boobies and thick bleached hair she also wore glasses.
" yeah, its been a minute " Jayson replied back to the lady
" your father had already paid for the grand sweet, so all you have to do is sign here and you're good to go"
" sorry to bother, but are we sharing rooms" Amanda barged in looking over to Jayson
" oh god no" Jayson chuckled " were sharing a house with multiple rooms, you dont even have to see my face if you dont want to"
Nodding Amanda heart rate went back to normal, she had no intention of sharing room with Jayson knowing how much feelings she had for him.
After signing the palette Jayson smiled at the receptionist walking off for Amanda to follow, and so she did.

" do you come here a lot?" Amanda questioned as they both were at a separate house away from the hotel
" since I was a kid" Jayson replied switching on the light in the house.
Amanda gasped right away looking around the house in 'awe'. The interior was breath taking.
" you can choose any room you like" Jayson uttered in the next room " when your done we can work on the presentation together.
