Amanda's eye opened to the bright Sunday light shining through the room.
she was covered in white silk sheets with her hair easy in her face.
She heard the shower running as sat up on the bed lookin out the left window which had a beautiful view of the beach.
Adults were laying on towels getting a tan from the sun while the kids were playing in the sand building sand castles. it brought a smile to Amanda's face when she saw the joy of the people on he beach.
" good mornings beautiful " Jayson smiled as he walked out of the bathroom in a towel covering his waist
Turning her head towards Jayson she blushed a little " you took me to your room"
" I didn't have a choice, you didn't tell me which room you picked "
Flooding her lips she looked at Jayson from head to toe before a knock game to the door with a voice saying room service
" i have to take a shower" Amanda uttered looking at Jayson putting on his shirt
" well then what's stopping you?"
" my clothes aren't in your room"
" there's a robe in the bathroom, use it after your finish to get to your room " Jayson replied opening the door for the room service lady
Rapping the sheets around her Amanda got up from the bed walking to the bathroom in which she dropped the sheets to the floor getting into the shower.
Amanda then used the robe Jayson was talking about getting out of the bathroom seeing the maid alone in the room cleaning
" good morning" Amanda smiled at the lady
" good morning " the woman smiled back at her continuing her dusting
" umm where did Jayson go?"
" he went to the restaurant, he said you should meet him down there when you're done " the lady replied with a smile
" thank you"Amanda mused walking out of the room heading into hers.
She threw on a dress that had flowers patterns on it with some sock and the white sneakers
she came in.
She later blow dried and curled her hair before taking her toiletries out if her small bag to brush her teeth.
After thirty minutes of getting ready Amanda left the house reading the huge guide sign that was placed in a glass frame to get to the restaurant in which she saw Jayson seated in a dark glass with a cup of tea
" what's with the glasses?"
" I want to be able to look at people without them knowing " Jayson replied taking a bite of his crossiant that was on a small whit pate with jelly and scrambled eggs and a small bowl of sale right beside them.
As Amanda sat down at the table a lady came almost instantly taking her order.
Jayson on the other hand was watching the woman at the other table having an argument with her husband.
" so, did you sleep well" Amanda asked leaning back in her chair
" like a rock " Jayson smile removing his glasses " did you? "
" yeah, this place is too amazing not to sleep well"
Staring into the eyes of Amanda Jayson smiled
" what" she questioned
" I dont know, I just can't believe that we only have a few more months in school until graduation"
" I know right, it seems like yesterday we were all newbies " Amanda smiled
The lady who took Amanda order then walked up to the table placing her scrambled eggs and toast with a cup of coffee on the table .
" what are your plans after high school?" Jayson questioned removing his gaze from Amanda down to his salad bowl to pick up his fork
" I'm going to collage after high school to study Law"
" law" Jayson smiled looking up at her " that's pretty cool, have picked any college yet?"
" yes. I sent out an applicationss to an institution But, I'm still waiting for a reply"
" that's good, best of luck" he smiled
Smiling back Amanda took a bite of her toast " how about you, what are your plans for high school"
" same as you, I'm going to collage to study business and management "
" ohu a young business man i see" Amanda giggle sipping her coffee
" please call me Mr José" Jayson laughed
Sharing some laughs Amanda and Jayson then got quiet.
Amanda played with the eggs on her plate listening to the sound of the beach and the soft music playing
" you shouldn't play with your food" Jayson smiled as Amanda looked up at him giving him a smile in return
" I'm sorry, I just cant believe we have school tomorrow. And to make matters worse, we have to leave this place " she sighed
" which means we have to enjoy the few hours we have left here" Jayson smiled jumping off the chair " let go sky dive, bungee jump, or whatever"
Reaching out his hand Amanda smiled taking it " let's do it" she said as they both ran off laughing.
