Part 1 || I'm Sorry ||

Luz's POV:

"Alright I'll see you guys later!" I call to Gus, Willow, and Amity. I walk over to my locker and rub the stomache of it so it opens. When it opens a piece of pink paper falls out. It's only half of the paper i assume since it's clearly been ripped. I don't know where the other half is though.

I quickly realize that it's the piece of paper the fell out of Amitys pocket the day of the grom. How I found out she was afraid of being rejected.

"What's this doing here?" I wonder, "I thought we left it in the forest." I put it off for now and put the paper in my pocket then grab my books and run out of the school. This is my second school year at the Boiling Aisles. I am yet to find a way back home though.

When I get outside I see Eda waiting for me with Owlbert. "Hey kid, how was school?" She questions.

I smile, "It was great! I learned a few new spells today." I exclaim. We then hop on Owlbert and fly back to the Owl House.

"Alright Luz I gotta practice a few things so how about you go hang out in your room practicing your new spells?" Eda explains.

"Was planning on doing that anyway." I remark and head upstairs to my room. When I get there I see King sitting on my bed.

"Luz!" He exclaims and jumps into my arms.

I pet his head, "Hey king." I say and set him on the ground. I sit on a pillow and take the pink paper out of my pocket. King looks over my shoulder. "What's that?" He questions.

"It's the note that fell from Amitys pocket when we were fighting Grom." I state.

"Didn't you leave that at the forest?" He remarks.

"That's what I thought, but it ended up in my locker somehow." I explain as I stand up and grab my notepad off the nighstand then sit back down in the pillow. "Today we learned a spell to show the other half of something if it's been ruined." I explain.

"So you're going to do it with this?" King interviews.

"I don't know." I pause, "Maybe it'll say who it was she was writing it to, but that'd be personal to her... maybe i shouldn't."

"Probably not." King says, "But it's technically a love letter sOoO you could essentialy try to get Amity and this person together!"

I give a little laugh, "Yeah I could, but would it be an invasion of privacy?" I question myself looking down at the piece of paper and the cast that i have already drawn out. All I have to do is tap the piece of notepad paper and I'd know the answer to all my questions of this one simple note.

Then I see one of my drawing come flying off the wall from a gush of wind. I quickly lean over to catch it, but my hand went onto the spell cast. Before I even had a chance to react to it the other half of the letter emerged.

I look at the it shocked. I'm silent. King looks at me confused as Im sitting there starring at the paper motionless.

"Uuhhh Luz?" He says, "Isn't that your name on the other half of the paper?"

I feel my cheeks getting warm and red from blushing. "She was going to ask... me." I mutter.

"What'd you say?" King asks looking up at me with both concern and contusion.

I squeal in happiness. "AAAAHHH!!" King backs away quickly from me, I think i scared him a bit, my bad.

I then hear quick footsteps coming up the stairs next thing I know my door bursts open. "What?! What is it?" Eda yells ready for some sort of battle. My back is turned to her and I'm starring down at the paper in my hands with my cheeks blushing and my eyes watering.
