Part 3 || Look At Me ||

Luz's POV:

"A-Amity?" I look at her in shock. "What are you doing here?"

"What's going in with you? It's not like you to lock yourself in your room and ahut everyone out." She grabs my hands and steps inside and looks ay me worriedly.

I glance over at my unmade bed where I had a note of my own sitting. I was going to give her that when I went to her house.

"Luz?" She interjects my thoughts.

I sigh and move over to my bed and sit down pickiny up the note. Amity comes and sits next to me. I hand the paper to her. She looks at me confused as she hold the crumpled up paper but then unwraps it.

I'm looking at the ground not knowing what's going to happen next. "Why'd you shut me out..." I ask quietly.

"Huh?" She questions.

"Why did you shut me out?" I repeat and look back up at her. The paper is still not fully opened so she hasn't read it yet.

She places her hand on my shoulder, "All the things I said that night... I didn't mean." She explains then her faint smile turns into a frown. "It was my parents."

"Read it." I state with a smile.

She glances down at the paper and unfolds it. Her face goes red as she reads it.

"Luz I-"

I put my hands on her face and lean in to kiss her. What happens next is something I didn't think would happen... She pushes me away and runs off.

"Amity!" I call out as she runs out of the room I reach mt hand out as if it'll do anything.

I clench my chest with a small sob. "Stupid." I mutter to myself.

Eda's POV:

I arrive at the house after dropping Gus and Willow off down town. When I get there I see Amity sitting on the couch.

"You came!" I exclaim, "How's Luz, you figure out what was wrong with her?"

"She was going to kiss me..." She mutters.

I go to sit down next to her. "You ran away didn't you?"

She nods then shoves her face in her hands. "How could I be so stupid?"

"Hey! you are not stupid." I interject, "Look Luz is up there probably thinking the same thing as you, so go up there and talk to her." I give her an assuring smile.

She nods, "Okay." She then goes to the stairs disappearing behind the wall.

Amity's POV:

"Luz?" I say and walk over to where she's sitting on the bed. I put my hand on her shoulder, "Look at me."

She moves so she's facing me our faces close to touching. I blush and back away a bit. "I'm sorry, i was just nervous."

Her attention is focused on me and I can tell, she's silent, which is werid for Luz. I sigh, "Luz, I like you a lot, and I just didn't want to mess this up."

She blushes. She's so damn adorable I don't even know how I held myself together all this time. I don't anymore though. I lean in and kiss her gently.

I back away to see her face bright red, I'm sure mine is too. Her flustered smile is so cute i swear.

"Does this mean I can call you my girlfriend?" She asks.

I grab her hands, "Well, yes, but my parents can't know about this... we have to keep it secret for now, is that okay?"

She puts her hand on my face and rubs her thumb on my cheek, "Of course Ami." She then pulls me in for a hug and we fall asleep cuddling on her bed.
