Matthew and his friends made it to the school without getting run over by a car and parents are rather strict when they say, "look both ways before you cross the street."

The school was a four-story building like a giant cube. The courtyard was a playground that contested of a large yard big enough for a kid's baseball team, a single wall built for a game of wallball, and an open gate from outside visitors to come to see what's happening in the school.

The courtyard itself was big and filled with many parents with small children. There were stands layered throughout the courtyard and many were holding displays of folded paper showing pictures and small displays on desks of different subjects: pictures of famous people, school subjects, and different countries.

"I'd never thought I'd be back here again," said Matthew.

"And I never thought your dad would be here," said Brandon.

"And I thought it you kids wouldn't get here," said a frightful noise behind the kids.

The five were startled by the familiar male voice and looked at Nuallán standing behind them. Shock and bewilderment are what caught on their faces as they saw the adult standing behind them.

"Dad? How did you get behind us?" asked Matthew.

"I ran behind from the house to here in the greatest amont of speed you will think impossible," answered Nuallán.

"But that's impossible," said Brandon.

"Nothing is impossible, Brandon," said Nuallán. "I've seen things you could never imagine."

The kids just remained silent until a loud noise cried from the crowd: a scream of a girl. It was followed by a loud roar of a wild animal like a tiger. Then the crowd went into a mad panic and chaos echoed throughout the schoolgrounds.

Nuallán and the kids standing at the front entrance at the open gate ran the panicking crowd. Nuallán led the kids to one spot at the single wall built on the outer field, and they saw an average size human with the head and face of a pig. The creature, whatever it was, was smashing down the wall so kids won't get the chance to play wallball.

"What is that creature?" asked Joe.

"This is where the supernatural begins and what you know of reality will change," said Nuallán.

"I got this," said Matthew.

"Matthew, don't attack," warned Nuallán.

It was too late; Matthew already ran towards the creature. Matthew stopped when he was five yards away from the creature.

"Hey, beast," called Matthew.

The beast turned its gaze towards Matthew. Its eyes were glaring with blood. It body mass was covered in black fur. The breath smelled like dumpster food. Its arms and legs were very bulky.

"Time to teach you some manners, whatever-you-are."

Matthew grabbed some sand in both of his hands and charged forward. When he came close to the beast, he threw the sand into its eyes.

The beast wasn't stunned by the two handful of sands threw at him.

Matthew jumped and rammed his shoulder against the beast; the beast remained still.

Speechless, Matthew didn't know what to do now.

The beast gave Matthew a hard push that made Matthew fly fifteen yards away from him. Matthew landed hard on the ground. Great amounts of pain erupted in his back like ten bee stings.
