Matthew landed hard like a boulder next to the basement door. The landing had a great impact near the strength of an earthquake. The ground shook Matthew's house very mildly and the house behind him. Almost thirty yards surrounding Matthew shook very firmly and strong as if an extremely powerful earthquake were about to strike.
Matthew crutched his eyes of the earthquake he made. He didn't think about of slowing down. After the earthquake stopped, he took no time open the basement door and run down the stairs. When he got the basement floor, he saw the armor still standing on the display. He widened his arms and legs and wings.
Piece by piece, the red armor merged onto Matthew's body. In ten seconds, Matthew was once again the Red Dragon, only without his helmet. The helmet remained on the display. Matthew stared at it for several moments before reluctantly going back upstairs without it. He was leaving the helmet behind, and it was the main concealment to hide his face from the outside world or the planet.
Before he went upstairs, he grabbed two swords: one that came with the armor and the scimitar he found at the fiery house. And the scimitar somehow ended up back in the basement. Earlier, Nuallán held the scimitar and said was something Matthew left in the basement. It would seem Nuallán put the scimitar back where he found it.
He grabbed the handles and pulled the blades right out of the scabbards. The scimitar was a bright blue like the blue ocean and the blade was shaped like a bird's feather. Matthew was surprised to see a unique design for a sword.
Rushing back upstairs, Matthew slammed the basement door behind him, with flexible legs.
"What was that?" asked a voice from behind a bricked fence that was near the house's front entrance.
"It came from the other said of this wall," said another voice.
A wooden door in between the house's wall and the bricked fence opened and four figures dressed in black armor appeared. They appeared to be human in front of Matthew but with crimson eyes.
"Well, well," said one of them, in a sinister tone. "Look at what we have here, boys. A young Mystical Warrior in training. I'll deal with him. Maybe we can cook his limbs since he looks tasty like a fried cow on a tree."
The four of them burst into laughter.
Matthew quickly pointed the swords upwards. He was carrying a broadsword, which came with the armor when Nuallán gave Matthew it on his twelfth birthday, in his right hand and a blue feather-shaped scimitar in left hand. They were perfectly well balanced in both hands, and they were hand-and-a-half swords.
The one armored person who just spoke drew a two-handed mace.
"Ready for your last lesion, newbie?" he laughed.
"I'm ready for anything, servant of Årvondor," replied Matthew angrily.
The figure swung up high and Matthew blocked the attack by making a triangular form with the blades. Sparks blazed when the swords and mace hit. Matthew kept a straight eye on his enemy while his enemy was looking at the block. Then Matthew, with the swords in the triangular position and the mace trapped, tightly swung his weapons in a counterclockwise movement, making sure that the mace was still trapped.
Matthew, still looking at the enemy's eyes, flung the mace right out of the opponent's hand, much to the evil figure's surprise. Then Matthew suddenly reached into his opponent's mind and saw a human name coming into Matthew's mind: Gorinfinila. "Want to keep fighting, Gorinfinila?"
"How did you my...?"
"I was trained under the supervision of a Dryk'gar, Gorinfinila," Matthew answered, telling the name of his opponent. "And apparently, I can read your mind."
