I work within the Future Foundation as an assistant. I've done tons of jobs. It is what I'm best at. "The Ultimate Assistant" is what they all call me. Although, I may not be talented in the same way as most of my colleagues, I'm still useful. I can help anyone with whatever they need help with. I am a personal assistant.
Today, I was called in to Miss Kirigiri's office. I suspect it will be a new job. They tend to move me around whenever someone specifically needs help.

"Hello?"

"Ah, yes come in." I heeded her words and sat in a chair in front of her. "How are you these days, (F/N)?", she was sipping her tea.

"Oh, well you know... I'm doing alright as always."

"That's good... Tea?", she asked as she was refilling her own cup.

"Yes please", I wasn't really a big fan of tea, but I like to be polite. Especially if it's a higher up. She softly scooted my cup towards me.

"So (F/N), I'm sure you are curious as to know why I've called you here."

"Of course. Do tell."

"We have found a new calling for you. I know you don't like to sit in one place for too long", I wanted to rebuttal, but she was right this time. I've been helping in the research department for almost 8 months now. "This will be a completely new job for you due to a situation we have encountered this year."

"Oh, goodness! Is everything alright?", I felt a little worried for whoever it concerned.

"No need to panic, it's no life or death situation", I sighed in relief. Kirigiri continued, "this year we are expecting a surplus of livestock. Not that we've found more, but rather the livestock has been reproducing a lot more frequently than usual." I blushed a little at that, but quickly kicked it out of my head.
"Our Ultimate Breeder would usually be able to take care of this on his own. However, he simply doesn't have the time to tend to all of the female livestock."

"I see."

"It may be a tough job, but I know you can handle anything", Kirigiri pulled open a drawer from her desk and took out a small map of our facility. "The livestock area is circled here for you, just in case you get lost. He doesn't have an office, so you're going to have to look around for him."

"Thank you, Miss Kirigiri. I'll do my best!", I stood up from my chair and bowed slightly. Then I left.

I finally reached the livestock room. It had double doors that were bigger than the others in the facility. Pushing them open was going to require some muscle.
The artificial light shined above me. As my eyes adjusted, my mouth fell open. This place was huge! The animals weren't too noisy, but I could still smell the usual stink that they would have around them. Thankfully, it wasn't anything that I couldn't handle.
I looked around the best I could. My steps were firm on the grass. It was a rare occasion to even see green. That's when I spotted a chicken running around alone. It must have gotten out from its coop. "I guess this is where my job starts", I said to myself and started going after the run away hen.
As I chased down this feathery bird, I tried my best to also keep an eye out for this "Ultimate Breeder". I wonder if I've seen him before. I wonder what he looks like. He's basically an animal farmer right? Maybe he wears a straw hat? Maybe overalls? Was he tall, or short? Ack, I need to pay attention to what's at hand!

"Urff!", I bumped into something large. This is what I get for running around blindly. Now, I was planted on my butt. Thank goodness I wasn't in the pig pen at least. Or else I would've gotten mud all over me. I stood up and patted off my behind and my knees. I gasped at the sight before me. What I had run into, who I ran into. "Wow", I said quietly.
It was a man with dark clothing. Like a goth almost. He had a scar on one of his eyes and his hair was salt and peppered. He also was wearing a long purple scarf. "I-I'm sorry. I wasn't looking." He looked down at me, almost glaring.
