(So warning there is some heavy stuff in this chapter including abandonment, extreme forms of physical and verbal bullying, and parent death so skip if uncomfortable)

Cole and Jay were silent as they rode the horses both too shaken up by the nightmares they just had.

They both just felt so guilty for not doing more to help stop the siblings from being captured in the first place.

Cole's eyes were on the map nearly the entire time only glancing up every so often. Finally they stopped and Cole looked around confused.

"Are we lost?" Jay asks. "Maybe?" Cole said sounding like a question. "Maybe or yes?" Jay asks. "Possibly," Cole said trying to keep his friend in blue from freaking out. Sadly though that was exactly what made Jay start freaking out. "Great! Just great Kai and Nya are probably being tortured by the witch and all because we could not even follow simple directions and we probably can't get back to the others and Nya never actually officially forgave me for," Jay rambles fast and in a complete panic making his horse skittish. "Jay quiet your scaring Tiger," Cole said looking at the map.

Jay stops and looked at Cole like he just grew a extra eye. "You named your horse Tiger? A animal that has nothing in common with a tiger," Jay asks completely dumbfounded and Cole nodded. "Yeah he reminds me of a tiger," Cole said. "How?!" Jay screeches really startling the horses. "Because of the stripe on his nose also when I was a kid I had a stuffed horse I called tiger because I actually wanted a tiger toy, but dad said I could not have one until I completed the triple tiger sashai and you know how that turned out," Cole cringes at the memory.

It was a moment before Jay burst out laughing like a mad man. "Oh if Tiger's name is so funny what did you name your horse?" Cole asks and Jay pauses laughing. "I haven't named him. Woo! I wonder what should I name him? Horsey? Swift? Twinkle? Shadow because his coat is black? Hey wait your the black ninja why don't you get the black horse? Maybe I should name it Cole because of you, or maybe Boulder Brain or," Cole tuned Jay's rambling out at that point trying to figure out the map and where he was.

"Lost are we?" A voice asks startling both blue and black as they looked behind them.

They saw a kind looking old woman with purple robes that had the constellations embroidered in it.

"Who are you?" Both Jay and Cole ask at the same time.

"Someone who can help you find what you need," The woman smirks. "Are you the one who taught the witch her magic?" Jay asks and the woman frowns. "Yes I am. You have come to learn her weakness correct?" The lady asks and the two nodded. "Well for me to tell you that I need to know if you are worthy of the knowledge you seek," The old lady said. "A test seriously? Lady we are kind of a time limit so tell us and," Jay began before the lady clapped her hands and a loud boom rang out. Jay and Cole fell from their horses from shock as they ran off into the dark woods.

Cole and Jay looked back at the lady only for her to be right in front of them and placed her index fingers in the middle of their foreheads. "Night night," she said and everything became black.

Jay's POV

It felt like I had only blinked when I open my eyes and I was somewhere I did not understand and could not find Cole anywhere. I was in a room that was made for a baby a boy I am guessing since it was a pale baby blue everywhere.

I looked at a corner and saw a crib. I walked over to it and saw a small baby in it wrapped in a blue blanket with lightning marks. I was frozen as I recongnized the baby in the crib. It was me from when I was a baby.

"Where am I?" I scream in terror. I don't get a answer and the baby me started crying. I tug at my hair terrified and confused when the door to the room opens. I turned my head and saw a woman walk in. Her hair was long and blonde her eyes were a sapphire blue like mine and she even had a few freckles covered by make up. She walked over to the crib and picked the baby me up. "It's okay Jaybird your alright mommy's here," The woman said and I choke on a sob realizing it was my mother. Attentively I reached a hand out to touch her only for my hand to go through.
