Cole and Jay's fairytale romance

Decision

Kai watches scared for his life as Cole held the necklace out to the witch never taking his eyes off the fake him. "Love spells are so easy to make dear just hand me the necklace and I promise, I will have the real one under before you can even say love. I will even let him keep his eye sight," The witch said eagerly holding her hand out to take the jewel. Cole kissed the fake Kai on the head delicately like glass looking at the love in the fake Kai's eyes. The real fire ninja sunk to his knees in his glass prison uselessly pounding on the glass whispering out.

"Please no Cole. I already love you please don't give it to her,"

Cole ran a hand through the illusions hair.

Mine? To have the love I have been missing? Just a spell and he will love no one but me?

Just when it seemed like Cole was about to drop the necklace he pauses and looks at the fake Kai.

"No," he said.

The witch panics. "What do you mean no? Is that not what you have always wanted? For his love? To be yours forever?" The witch asks. Cole pushes the fake Kai away who looked hurt and confused as he looks away. "Cole babe what's wrong?" The fake Kai asks trying to get Cole to look at him, but he just keeps looking away.

"No if Kai's ever going to be mine, to love me like I love him.........then I want him to have chosen it not because of some stupid beauty obsessed witch messing with him!"

And with that he crushes the necklace in his hands.

The witch screeches as the illusion drops at the same time Cole dropped the shattered remains of the necklace. She claws at the remains of her power as her body became older and older. Cole and Kai looked away until her screaming stopped and they looked seeing her dusty remains blow away in the wind.

Cole and Kai made eye contact and the black ninja quickly walked over and helped him up. Cole had no idea Kai had been watching the deal that was just made he thought the red ninja had been knocked out in the fight like Jay and Nya who he vaguely heard waking up in the back ground.

"You okay? How's your sight?" Cole asks concerned as Kai just blinked probably trying to formulate his thoughts. "Kai?" Cole asks concerned. "Thanks for not letting the witch mess with my emotions. I was actually scared there," Kai said sheepishly blushing. "Y-y-you saw that?" Cole stutters terror sinking in. "Yeah and.....I love you too," Kai said then surged forward and kisses him on the lips passionately. Cole was shocked for a moment and when he did not kiss back Kai broke it off scared. "Sorry sorry too soon?" Kai asks. Cole just takes his chin in his hand gently wrapping his other arm around it. Cole was silent searching for something in his eyes trying to see if this was another illusion a trick. "Cole this is not a trick," Kai said. Cole's eyes widened at the realization and before Kai knew it he was being kissed on the lips. It was only a few seconds before he started kissing back wrapping his arms around Cole's neck while he wrapped his arms around Kai's waist pulling him closer.

Cole felt like he was on fire in a good way as he finally kissed the lips he's been dreaming about for years. It felt so much better than he imagined as he had Kai in his arms kissing his lips like in a fairytale. When they separated for air they heard giggling and looked to the side seeing Jay was holding a camera and definitely had taken a picture.

Kai blushes bright red and Cole could not help the amused smile as the red ninja hid his face in the earth elementals neck. "Cute," Cole murmurs making Kai blush harder. "Now let's get out of here," Cole said kissing the top of Kai's head. "What about the bandits?" Jay asks. Almost as if on cue the bandits came inside and go wide eyed at seeing the remains of the witch they had served. The four ninja tense ready for a fight, but instead the bandits bowed to them. "Thank you! Thank you for killing her!" The bandit leader Herald thanks them much to their confusion. "Wait? You wanted her dead?" Nya asks. "You really think we liked working for her? She made us pillage and steal stuff and people. Sure it was fun every known and again, but she threw one of us in her mout every time we came back without something she liked. She even made us eat one of her thrones until our bellies nearly exploded," Herald said.

"Wait? All this candy in the room is edible?" Jay asks looking around the room. "Yeah why?" A different bandit asked. Jay left Nya's side and started licking the wall. "Cole! You got to try this is tastes like white chocolate," Jay said. Cole's eyes lit up in excitement. "Back in second," he said to Kai giving him a quick peck on the lips again and then ran over to lick the wall too. Cole then ran over to the throne and broke off some of the s'more stuffing it in his mouth. "This is delicious! Hey everyone pillage what you can," Cole said face stuffed with marshmallow, crackers, and chocolate. Jay did not waist any time picking gumdrops from the trees and stuffing them in his pockets and mouth.

The bandits got right to it as well though they left to explore the riches of the castle besides the candy.

The smith sibling looked at their lovers before looking at each other and shrugging. Nya joined in taking some lollipops and candy canes from the walls while Kai just walked over to Cole still eating s'mores. "Want me to heat that up for you?" Kai asks. Cole nodded and Kai did so. Cole kisses Kai's cheek jumping up and down already on a sugar high similar to Jay. Kai cannot help, but chuckle lovingly as he watches his official boyfriend stuff himself silly not even five minutes after officially becoming a item.

Later

It had been nearly a week since Zane, Lloyd, and Sensei Wu seen the other four of the team. Zane had finally fixed himself while Lloyd was still taking it easy on his horse. "Sensei do you think?" Zane began. "We must not let our minds think of the worse," Sensei Wu cut off. Lloyd looked out to the horizon and suddenly spot someone that made him sit up straight. "Uncle Wu! They are back! They are back!" Lloyd yelled pointing out to the horizon. Zane and Sensei Wu looked to where Lloyd was pointing and they watched as Kai and Nya on horse back came out from the woods with waves and smiles. Delighted they all raced down as fast as they could go to greet them. As they got closer they saw Cole on the back of the horse Kai was riding leaning against the red ninja's back and he looked a little sick. Same went with Jay who was even a little green.

"Kai Nya! I am so delighted to see your safe return, but may I ask what is wrong with Jay and Cole?" Zane asks concerned about them. "Too much candy," Nya said simply. "It was so good," Jay whines before holding in the candy he had eaten. Nya rubbed soothing circles on his back. "Did you save me any?" Lloyd asks and Kai threw him a bag full to the brim with all types of candy. Lloyd's eyes lit up and he dug into the bag like a child and pulled out some liquorice. "And the witch of vanity?" Sensei Wu asks. "Gone," Nya said. "Now sleep, we rescued you both so we deserve sleep," Cole said like a child and Jay nodded in agreement.

"We told you not to eat too much candy," Kai said planting a small kiss on Cole's head. "It was chocolate," Cole mumbles into Kai's back. "So I am assuming you and Cole are officially a couple?" Zane asks. Kai nodded and then Lloyd cheered. "Finally! Zane you owe me twenty-five bucks!" Lloyd said arm out stretched expecting money and Zane crossed his arms annoyed at loosing the bet. "Wait you made a bet on whether or not we would be dating?" Cole asks looking up. "No we made a bet on whether or not you would be a official couple by the time you got back. I betted once you got back while Lloyd betted before you got back and I have sadly lost. There really was no question you would be a couple by the end of this," Zane said speaking in his facts voice with a small bit of disappointment at loosing the bet while the green ninja munched on sweets victoriously.

"Alright then let's go I am tired too," Nya said with a yawn on cue. They headed into the bounty and each couple went to bed. Jay and Nya went to his room to cuddle. Nya giggles as Jay laid down groaning about his aching tummy. Nya gives him a kiss. "Does that make it better?" She asks. "I need a lot more," Jay said with a joking demeanour despite the pain in his stomach. Nya giggles and kisses him again. "I love you sparky," she said and Jay smiles. Meanwhile Cole laid down on his bed and pulled Kai down with him. "Stay," he said. Kai smiles and gave a peck on his sugar coated lips. "Always," Kai answers smiling as they fell asleep in each other's arms.

And they lived happily ever after.
