chap37: The past

"Korn...Play the video " knock argued trying to snatch the remote from korn.

"Come on knock. I don't wanna miss that scene. I will play it when I come back after taking this call" korn walked a few steps away to take the call taking remote with him.

"Asshole " knock cursed under his breath by taking a sip from his beer.

It's been a month since kornknock started hanging out. They are watching series together, drinking, talking about everything and nothing.

Its 9 PM. They are at Korn's apartment watching some series and drinking beer until korn phone rang.

"I am back " korn cheered walking to the couch and pressed the play button in the remote.

"Who is that?" Knock asked with his eyes on TV.

"My ex " korn replied with a shrug.

"Oh..." Knock trailed off not knowing what to say.

They watched Tv in silence for the next few minutes. 

"Do you still love her?  " knock asked out of nowhere making korn frown.

"For your information, It's he and No I don't love him,"  Korn said taking a big gulp of beer.

" He! " knock asked surprised more like shocked.

"Yeah. I am gay. Any problem?" Korn said looking straight into knock eyes.

"Nah...Nah...It's not that. I don't ---" knock sighed putting the beer can on the table.

For a second korn thought Knock would hate him or get disgusted by him. Maybe, he will walk away and never consider him as a friend again.

But nothing that korn expected happened. For his surprise knock moved his body to left slightly so that he can talk to korn like face-to-face.

"I am indeed surprised to know you are gay but I don't have any problem with it. " knock said calmly by placing a hand on korn shoulder and patting it lightly in a friendly gesture.

"Thanks," korn said turning away from a knock to look at TV, trying to calm down his heart. Knock has no idea how that friendly touch made korn heart go crazy.

"Are you okay?" Knock asked worriedly as korn opened the new beer can and drank everything at once.

"I thought you would hate me " korn spoke putting the empty beer can on the table.

"Jessy was a bisexual " knock spoke about his wife for the first time, after her death.

"I am saying it because I want you to know that I don't hate you just because you like guys. " knock spoke.

"She used to have a girlfriend before. Before she met me " knock added.

"I am sorry," korn said referring to his dead wife.

"We are going off the topic " knock said quickly changing the topic before the emotions flew out in the form of tears.

"What's the deal with your ex ?" Knock asked casually leaning back into the couch.

"It's been a year since we broke up and he wants to get back now. Like now after the whole fucking year. I don't even like him anymore " korn snorted childishly.

"Maybe he just realized he loved you are something?" Knock suggested.

"He is just a horny pig. Leave it. I don't like him anymore to think Or talk about him " korn shrugged taking another beer can.

"It's late already. You wanna crash here tonight " knock asked.

"I have somethings to take care off, " knock said standing up.
