Part 8~ Christmas Class Setup

Today is December first and it's time to start decorating the classroom with Christmas decorations! I'm so EXCITED. Wait...Walter just walked in! ...HE JUST ASKED THE TEACHER IF HE COULD HELP THE CLASS WITH THE DECORATIONS. And she said yes! He's running over right now. Be cool, Diego, be cool. "HEYYY," oh God...that was NOT being cool!! "Hey, Diego. How's it going?" He asked, in a light pitched tone. I mean, his voice CAN be pretty squeaky sometimes. But oh well I don't care. He's my crush after all. "Everything's doing great!" I said. We took out the fake Christmas tree from the box it was in and we started to decorate it. From top, all the way to the bottom. Then we hung Christmasy lights everywhere. Out of nowhere, Auden pulled out some mistletoe. Auden tried hanging it near the door, but she failed so Maddi did instead. Auden looked at Walter and I and WINKED. I quickly looked away from her and Walter. Then, Walter pulled my arm and tugged me beside him. We were under the mistletoe! I blushed and pecked him on the cheek. Auden started to gag...then BARFED. Right in front of Walter and I!

I shrieked and tried to jump on top of Walter's shoulders to not touch all the barf. I accidentally slipped and we both went crashing down. I landed right on top of him. My heart pounded out of my chest as Walter helped me up. Most kids were outside, because a few kids volunteered to help with the decorations, so at least not many people saw.

Once we were done setting everything up, Walter and I walked outside because there was still some time of recess. He reached for my hand and HELD it. Wow I thought, maybe he's gonna ask me out...or even better- ASK ME TO BE HIS BOYFRIEND! All of a sudden, I squealed like a fan girl. Walter looked at me weirdly. "Uhh aheh sorry about that," I said, blushing. "It's fine...you're cute when you squeal," he said, kissing my cheek.

I love decorating for Christmas.
