Part 5~ A Horrible? Gift

It's now Monday. What the heck happened on Friday though? Will Walter say something when we both see eachother at school? Will he talk about what he did? I mean, all he did was wink but...he was flirting with me. Surprisingly, because I thought no one in the right mind would flirt with me! After I got dropped off, the bell rung. Thank God I wasn't late for class. As I walked inside, I went as pale as a ghost. Walter was sitting right beside my desk...he's not even in my class! I quickly washed my hands and sat down. "Hey Diego!" He exclaimed. I didn't want to seem rude so I said hey back, "O-oh h-hey Walter."

Dang it. Auden started to approach us. She had a piece of paper in her hand... "HEYYY," she said. Maddi was right behind her. "Ugh! What do you guys want??" I said full of frustration. Auden kneeled on the ground beside Walter and I. "Here...a present Maddi and I made for the both of you!" Walter brightened up. "Really?? For us? Thanks!" He said happily. He quickly snatched it from Auden's hands. "Here Diego...you can open it," he said. "Gee...thanks," I sounded pretty upset, but I opened it anyway. It was a drawing of Walter and I...KISSING! "AAHHH," I screamed at the top of my lungs. "OH MY GOD WHAT IS IT?? ARE YOU OKAY, DIEGO??" Walter was yelling, but only because he was scared...for me. I quickly showed him the drawing. Auden and Maddi were laughing their heads of at this point. TYPICAL AUDEN. "Wow...I'm really that bad huh?" Walter asked me. "WHAT? No you're awesome! I was just-" Walter cut me off "Flustered?" My cheeks started to burn. My hands were sweating and my face was pink. He looked at me and smirked the cutest smirk I've ever seen.

Yes...flustered. Of course I didn't say that though, he would know I maybe sorta...like him. Er um...anyway. Auden and Maddi looked at eachother. "Maybe you guys need some alone time," Maddi said, while winking and knudging at the both of us. Auden laughed like a physco. Edith overheard the whole conversation and was laughing in the background. I quickly let myself out of the classroom and ran to the men's washrooms. I slammed the stall door I was in and I started to giggle. I loved that drawing. It was the best work of art I've ever seen. Edith and Auden probably worked on it together, Edith's pretty good at drawing. Hopefully they let me keep it.

I went back to the class. Kaylie told me Walter had to go back to his classroom because it was time for recess. I went back to my desk. I found the drawing Auden and Edith drew for me.
