Zhongli was enjoying his new life. And with new life comes new people, new opportunities, new... loves. And indeed, as time went by, he really fell hard. He was... feeling really human, even though he couldn't get used to it. But thanks to them, everything was easier. Every time he looked into those e/c eyes, he just was ten times more in love.They were mature, calm, yet passionate, just a good mix of everything. They were his home. But they were both a bit awkward with each other thanks to Morax just getting started a new life basically and y/n just basically being a bit awkward. But they were perfect for each other. When they were together, it just felt right. So when he took them to the Guyun forest, he didn't expect to have hands around his neck, while his love whispered "i love you" for the first time, into his lips. He couldn't help it, he smiled like a child(e) who just got a new toy. "I love you too." he said, maybe a bit flustered? He tried to hide it. But it was something, that he will carry in his mind forever.
