The clocks were ticking, while Zhongli was sitting in his chair, listening to what his coworkers had to say on the meeting. But the words entered his mind and left in the same second. In his thoughts, he was already in his partners arms, listening to what they did the whole day. Zhongli didn't like leaving them at home alone, but sometimes, work took more time than he expected. Which was this case, too. Nervously clicking his pen he leaned on his hand and closed his golden orbs for a second. In an instant, the image of his love popped up. Smile crept upon his face but he had to open them again to not look disrespectful. To atleast look like he was paying attention and not just mindlesly nodding to whatever idea the others had. Before he could sigh, the screen of his phone lit up, showing a photo of the two of them from their wedding. Chuckling to himself, he clicked the message and whined a bit, seeing a selfie of the one that has been occupying his mind the whole meeting, with their beautiful child. "We're waiting pappy! Hurry up!" was the text attached to it. "I will. I love you both." he replied, looking forward to going home.
