CHAPTER 98

QUINTON'S POV
i woke up around seven am and see chloe still laying there in the same spot
I get up and my eyes shoot to the moniter with a green line moving up then down showing her heartbeat
A small relieved feeling fills my heart and brain
I go to the restroom and pee before looking in the mirror scanning my body from the red puffy eyes to my old clothing which was my old damp swim trunks and a shirt of Bryce's i found in the car and threw on
Me: i look terrible this is terrible god please help her
I walk out of the bathroom and walk around chloe's bed and sit on the couch
Bryce walks in
Bryce: hey man how is she
Me: i don't even know anymore i don't understand any of these lines and shit
Bryce: oh i can get a nurse
Me:  sureni just feel like she's gonna give all bad news
Bryce: bad news is better than no news
He walks out of the room
Me: babe can i get a hug
CHLOE'S POV
Quinton: babe.... can i get a hug
-please do i miss you
I guess he read my mind because as soon as i said that he crawled on the bed and wrapped his arms around my waist and laid his head on my stomach
My heart filled with love and happiness
About 5 minutes later bryce and a nurse ran in
Bryce: dude what did you do
Quinton: i-i don't know
Bryce: get off of her dammit
Quinton:s-sorry i didn't mean too
-no please i like it please stay
He raises up and moves off your bed
Nurse: no no no you have it all wrong sir what did you do mr.griggs
Quinton: i just h-hugged her i'm sorry
Nurse: can you do it again it had a positive reaction with her
Quinton: um yes  but what do you mean
Nurse: her reaction to it was great all her vitals went up she was close to waking up
Quinton: really!
- Really? Hug me quin come back
Quinton: i mean yea of course unless bryce wants to try
Bryce: sure
He trys hugging you but it doesn't feel the same
Nurse: it's not working sir
Bryce: oh
He says with a sad face
Quinton: i'm sorry
Bryce: no it's fine anything to wake her up
He pats him on the back
Nurse: do you mind trying again
Bryce: um q theres some people that wanna see her after okay
Quinton: k
Bryce leaves and quinton crawls beside you
He wraps his musclely arms around your stomach and rests his head on your boobs
Nurse: you just have something on her because it only works for you
Quinton: really
Nurse: yes she must like you a lot
He laughs
Quinton: i hope so were getting married
Nurse: oh congrats
He holds you tighter
Nurse: okay i'm sorry but i have another patient i'll be back or call for me
Quinton: okay
She leaves he kisses your cheek
Quinton: you must really like me... i sure hope so
He chuckles
- i do i love you a lot and i want to hig you back so bad
Quinton: i can't wait till you wake up baby i love you and i can't wait until tou can kiss me back and hug me
- me too babe i just wish i could wake up right now
Then someone walks in
His head shoots up
Quinton: oh hey charli
Charli: hey quinton how is she
Quinton: i don't know better per the nurse
Charli: oh good do you mind if i see her
Quinton: no of course i'll leave you too
He gets up and your kinda sad but glad to see... i mean hear charli
Charli: hey bestie
- you know what i'm gonna keep answering them hopefully one time it will  come out " hey girly"
Charli: oo lord i miss you
-i miss you too char
Charli: i feel so bad i didn't see you for 10 days i now i still can even speak to you
- char it's ok i will wake up and we'll talk for hours
Charli: oh my i'm crying now
- no please don't beb
Charli: i'm sorry i can't stay in here i'm coming back when you wake up i miss your smile
- awe ok bye char
She walks out and quinton comes back in
Quinton: i'm back chlo if you can hear me

Quinton: i want cuddles even if you can't cuddle me back
He crawls beside you and scoots you over a bit and lays behind you and spoons you
He kisses your head and lays with you
After an hour the nurse walks in
Nurse: so we have some news
Quinton: and
Nurse: she is so close to waking up so we have to inform you when she wakes up she will be so weak she won't be able to walk for a few days
- what??!?
Quinton: will she ever be able to walk
Nurse: oh yes of course from our fingings she didn't hurt anything it's just she is very weak and you'll have to help her back to normal
Quinton: okay
Nurse: okay she should wake up in a little bit
Quinton: alright thank you so much
She leaves again
Quinton: come on chlo fight just a little bit more
- uhhh i'm trying quin
He holds you tighter and falls asleep
About 2 hours later he wakes up
Quinton: not up yet chlo
Quinton: i need to use the bathroom baby i'll be right back i love you
-i love you too
Quinton: what?
-huh i wish he could hear me again
Quinton: chloe?!
You: quin!
But this time it came out
Quinton: oh my god your awake
You: i am
He hugs you and kisses you 
Then bryce jaden and josh come in
Bryce: she's up
He smiles and runs over to you
You: can you not kill me
Bryce: we don't say that ever i thought i lost you
He hugs you again
Josh: good morning c
You: hey joshua
Josh: you lucky your in a hospital
You laugh
Jaden: missed that bestie
He hugs you too
You: i missed you too jae
Quinton: ok i really has to pee so i'll brb
He runs to the bathroom
He comes back and hugs you again
He kisses your head
Bryce: well the burse told be you should wake up so i brought you clothes
You: um i don't know when i can leave
Jaden: i'll get the nurse
Nurse: hey glad your up now
You: me too
Nurse: i think you should get some rest
You: um okay
You lay back down and quinton cuddles you
You: quin
Quinton: yea baby
You: i can't sleep
Quinton: why not
You: i'm just tired and a little hungry
Quinton:  you want something from the cafeteria
You:no thats nasty
Quinton: thats all they have babe and i had to eat that for 2 days now
You: that's sad
You turn over the other direction and your iv came out
You: uhoh
Quinton: what happened
You: it came out
Quinton: we need a nurse
He buzzes a nurse and she comes in
Nurse: oh were gonna have to put that in
You: no please no
Nurse: ma'am i'm sorry we have to
She grabs your wrist and trys to put it back in you
You: NO PLEASE OWW OWW OWW STOP
You scream
She stops and let's go of your arm
Quinton: babe it's ok
You: no it's not i don't want that back in me i hate needles
Nurse: we never had this reaction when i first put that in
You: yea beacuse i couldn't say anything
Nurse: i'm very sorry but you'll pass out is you don't have it in
Quinton: please chlo just let her and she'll stop
You: fine just go fast
She sticks it in and leaves the room
You:ouch
Quinton: i'm sorry princess
You: it's okay bebe i missed you
Quinton: i missed you too babe
You: when can i go home and see coco
Quinton: umm i don't know beb i can go ask
He starts to get up but you pull him back
You: wait no stay it's okay bub i don't even care i just want cuddles
Quinton: same
He laughs
He lays back down and you lay ontop of him
We end up falling asleep
We wake up 4 hours later and the nurse  comes in and explains that you can leave tomorrow morning at 10
You: okay thanks
Nurse: no problem ya'll have a good night
Quinton: you too
She leaves and quinton rolls over to you
Quinton: cuddles??
He makes this face 🥺
You: yesh
He moves his head on your stomach and cuddles you
Quinton: good night bebe
You: night baby
