"Mom, that was delicious thank you"
"Your welcome Henry. Now go get dressed. Where having diner at your grandparents today" I say as I finish washing the dishes
"You don't have to do that, let me" Emma says walking into the kitchen as Henry is leaving
I move out over the way and watch Emma wash the last dish
"Are you ready for what's to come?"
"No, I'm afraid of what they're going to say. What they'll do once they know..."
"Know what? That you're in love with the evil queen?"
"No Regina, it's not like that! I just don't want them to try and break us apart, or do something they'll regret"
"I'm sorry"
"Don't be it's not your fault. I'm the one who wanted us to be known. Plus And I'm the one who kissed you"
Emma drys her hands off and I pull her into a hug and rest my forehead on hers.
"I love you so much Regina, I just don't want to lose you"
"I love you Emma, and I will never let that happen"
I pick her chin up and give her a light kiss.
"We got this"
*Five hours later*
*Over the phone*
Mm: David's ready now
Regina: ok were on our whay
I put down my phone and look at Emma who is sitting in the passenger seat of my car. She puts her hand on my thigh and I start the car
When we finally get to Mary margrets place I take a deep breath.
"Hey hen, why don't you take your sister and go on up there. Im gonna talk to Emma for a minute"
"Is something wrong"
"No, nothings wrong. There's something I need to discuss with her"
He gets out the car and walks around to get lana and take her upstairs in her car seat. He gets her and we watch him walk in.
"Are you ready"
"As ready as I'll ever be"
"Ok, let's go"
We both get out the car at the same time And, walk up to the front door. I knock on it and Mary Margaret answers. As soon as she opens the door she pulls Emma into a tight hug. Emma wraps her arms around her and hugs her back almost as tight as she's hugging her.
"May we come in" I say
"Yes of course" david says
Emma pulls away from the hug and grabs my hand then we walk in.
"Where's Henry" I say as I'm walking in
"He's upstairs with lana"
I nod my head
"So when do I get to meet my step sister?" mary Margret asks
"Don't make it weird snow"
"It's already weird, my daughter is in love with her grandmother"
"Grandmother by marriage, and I'm not that old"
"That's right your only 35. Because you put us in a time stoping curse for 28 years" david says
" let's not talk about how your wife killed my mother"
"She killed mine"
"Hey! All of you calm down. We're not here to argue" Emma says squeezing my hand
"Sorry just needed to say how weird this all feels" snow says
"That's kinda what where her to talk about" Emma says. Mary Margret then looks down and notices me holding Emma's hand
"Awwwwwww. david look, there holding hands" she then smiles
"I can't lie, you two do make a cute couple" david says handing all of us a cup of hot chocolate with cinnamon
"Honestly Emma were happy as long as you are."
"Who are we to get in the way of love" david says taking a sip of his Coco
"Me" I chukle and say
"I'm sorry by the way, for all those times that I tried to keep you guys apart and or kill you"
"It's fine, actually that's a good idea"
"What is"
"Trying to make amends with each other"
"Oh thank God, I thought you where going to try to kill me"
"I know we've done alot to each other in the past years but... You're dateing my daughter, so I think we should at least try to be friends"
"Ok... I'll start, I'm sorry for trying to keep you and David apart by casting a curse that sperated your family for 28 years"
"Apology accepted, I'm sorry for killing your mom"
"Apology accepted, I'm sorry for having my genie kill your father"
"Apology accepted, I'm sorry for telling cora the secret you told me to keep and having Daniel..."
Before she says anything else I interrupt
"Yah about that, apology accepted but don't say his name. I'm having problems keeping the queen suppressed right now and if i remember correctly. she didn't really like you for that reason"
"What do you mean keeping the queen suppressed"
"Well that's nothing you need to worry about, just don't piss me off"
"Ok well, would you like to have breakfast tomorrow at granny's to start off our new friendship"
"Ohh, I actually have work tomorrow" as soon as I say that Emma hits my arm with her elbow
"I mean, that sounds nice. I would love to"
"Great"
"Why dont we eat diner first and worry about that tomorrow" Emma says
"Someones hungry" I say
"Yup, and not just for food" Emma whispers into my ear. I raise my eyebrow
"What are you two whispering about" snow says walking into the kitchen
"You don't wanna know" Emma says and I giggle
"Regina I have never heard you giggle before" david says
"Me either" mary says
"Well I've never had someone who made Me giggle" after I say that Emma please her hand on my cheek and pulls me into a kiss. I smile into the kiss then pull away.
"I'm gonna go upstairs and check on Henry & lana"I say then walking up the stairs
"I gotta say, she does seem really happy" I hear marry Margret say as I'm walking up the stairs
"I never thought there would be a couple more affectionate as us."
