Chapter 6

A smile is written on my face when I woke up from my sleep. I had a good night last night because a man just confessed that he misses me and it makes me giddy when I always think about it.

I'm currently at my kitchen right now with a cup of coffee on my hands. I took a sip on my coffee.

I don't have anything to do today, although there are still a lot of activities here in the resort that I still haven't tried yet but then again, wala akong kasama.

Buong akala ko, mag-uusap pa kami ni Isko pagkatapos niyang sabihin sa akin na namiss niya ako pero hindi. Walang nangyari pagkatapos.

When I was about to go near him last night he immediately stood up and told me that he wants to go to sleep.

I wasn't able to answer him that I also miss him because he immediately said that I should go back to my cabin and go to sleep too.

Nevermind of that, all I know is that I'm happy and Isko is the reason why I'm happy.

Anyway, I'm browsing through my Instagram and just peacefully taking sips on my coffee when my phone suddenly rang.

It's a video call from my mom and I immediately answered it.

"Good morning, sweetheart." She greeted with a wide smile on her face and I smiled back at her.

Before I answered her, I took the last sip of my coffee and stood up and placed the mug of my coffee on the kitchen sink. After, I went to the living room.

"Good morning, too, Mom." I finally greeted back at her and took a sit on the couch.

"How are you, sweetheart? Are you fine there?" Tanong niya. I smiled.

Hindi pa rin talaga nagbabago si Mom. Kahit na malaki na ako she never forgot to asked me if I'm fine or not wherever I go.

Kaya mahal na mahal namin siya ni Kuya Kieran and Dad because she's always been thoughtful and caring to us.

"Yes, Mom. I'm fine here. How about you and Dad, as well as Kuya?" Sagot ko at kinuha ko ang throw pillow at ipinatong ito sa aking kandungan.

"We're also fine here, sweetie." Sagot niya. I nodded.

"That's good to hear, mommy." I replied.

"By the way, Did you had your breakfast already?" She asked and I shook my head.

"I still haven't had my breakfast po. Hindi pa po kasi bukas ang resto. Mamaya na po ako kakain kapag bukas na but any minute it will be open." I answered her.

Mom and I both got silent for a minute after I answered her and I know what's the reason.

"Mom, it's just one month and besides we are just breathing the same air. I'm still here in the Philippines." I explained.

"Two weeks left then we can be together again." Dagdag ko.

"Yeah, I know, sweetheart. I just can't help but to miss you. Actually, all of us misses you here." I smiled sadly in front of the camera. She always do this kapag nalalayo kami sa isa't isa.
