It felt like the world around him was tumbling down. To say he was torn was an understatement.

Here Gray laid down in bed with his girlfriend but thought about somebody else. He felt guilty. He felt like a scumbag.

Ever since he had Juvia wrapped in his arms that one night, nothing felt the same. He constantly felt anxious, he thought about her, and he felt guilty.

He knew exactly why. He turned slightly to his side and glanced at a sleeping Blaire. He wanted to throw up. His feelings were constantly clashing and ripping at his heart.

He knew that this was what he always wanted and he finally had it. He'd longed for Blaire for the longest time and now she was his, he couldn't wish for anything more.

But then again...he did. He longed to feel the warmth of his best friend. It made him want to throw up again.

How could he be like this? He knew his feelings had been there and it was nothing new. He was just now realizing that he loved Juvia more than anything.

But...Blaire....

Gray quickly got out of bed and threw on some clothes. His head was spinning. He felt nauseous but all he really wanted to do was see her.

"Gray bae...where are you going?" Blaire quickly rose up from her bed. She was confused and with one glance at Gray's stormy eyes, her heart sunk. She didn't understand why she felt a sudden rush of defeat.

What defeat? Gray was hers and only hers!

Blaire wrapped her blanket over her body and quickly stood up to face Gray. Bitting his lip, Gray couldn't meet her eyes.

"Where. Are. You. Going?" Blaire was getting irritated. She didn't want to know, because she knew. He was going to see Juvia.

"I need to go home.." Gray lied. Fuck he lied, and he hated it. Blaire scoffed and shook her head. She was getting angry. Gray was hers!

"Don't go, you're okay to stay. Let's go another round", Blaire smirked alittle and reached out to grip his shoulder.

Gray flinched back and internally threw up. He hated this feeling. He was being torn apart. His head was overflowing.

"Blaire please-", Gray was cut off by a slap. His head shot up and stared at Blaire dumbfounded.

Blaire was livid. "Oh so you cheated on me at some point didn't you?" Blaire let out a sardonic laugh.

Gray was shocked. He didn't know what to do.

"I have never cheated on you-", Blaire bunched up her blanket and threw it back on her bed.

"You're a liar! Why would you leave YOUR girlfriend to go your stupid best friend in the middle of sleeping with her huh?! Baka! I'm not stupid! I see the way you look at her! You're not hers! You're mine!" Blaire screeched and held her fists back.

She wanted to hurt him as much as she felt her rage piercing against her chest. Gray couldn't get a word out. He was shocked. He never saw Blaire like this before. He always believed she was the sweetest person anyone could come across (except for Levy).

He didn't know what to do. He never did. He shut his eyes for a split second. He had to be truthful. No one deserved to feel cheated.

Gray took a deep breath and opened his eyes, meeting Blaire's blaring green orbs. A rush swam through him as he understood even though he loved Juvia, he still had a soft spot for Blaire. He didn't understand why...

"I love her". Gray was shocked at the words that came out of his mouth. This wasn't fair. He watched as the flames increased in Blaire's eyes. And somewhere behind those flames was sadness.

It was funny how someone as horrible as she was could be sad.

"You're mine." Blaire declared. She didn't seem like she was going to back down. Of course she knew Gray would have feelings for Juvia. Before they got together and she tore them apart, Juvia and Gray were disgustingly stuck together like glue.

"Blaire..I-I can't keep cheating on you emotionally when I don't think I can-", Blaire raised her hand to stop him from talking. She shook her head down.

"No..", she let out a long laugh. "Y-you can go home..but we're not breaking up..we can't!" Blaire barked. Her blazing eyes set on Gray's once again.

Gray didn't know what else to say. Why was she holding onto something that was just not going to work out anymore. Of course he wasn't just going to run to Juvia and beg her to love him. He didn't know how she felt. He probably didn't have a chance.. but he knew this was the right thing to do.

"Blaire stop. You sound crazy", Gray shook his head and moved towards her door. Blaire watched him calculatedly.

"I'm telling you to go. If you need space sure but we're not breaking up okay?" Blaire smiled slightly. She seemed possessed. She was holding in so much anger.

Gray couldn't leave without letting her know that he didn't want to hurt her anymore, but that didn't seem to be getting through to her head. What the hell was going on?

"Blair-"

"Just go!" Blaire pushed Gray out her door. "This is your space! Use it wisely! See you tomorrow Gray bae! Hahahahaha". She laughed. She felt like crying now. She felt thoroughly pathetic. But she couldn't allow him to do this to her... he was hers!

Gray didn't know if he was an idiot, cheater, or desperate. Here he stood at Juvia's front door feeling confused and drained. They were not on good terms at the moment, but he needed her so badly.

Gray couldn't understand if this was okay...of course it wasn't! He tried to end it with Blaire and that didn't go well. She acted so different. He tried to be honest but she acted so...scary.

He made a mental note to properly speak to her after they'd both had some space...space...was that what this was?

While Gray was lost in his own head, he hadn't noticed Juvia walking up behind him until her scent flowed through his mind.

Startling himself and her, he suddenly turned around to face a surprised and confused Juvia. Her blue hair gleamed in the moonlight, cheeks pink, and lips red from the cold.

Gray was stunned. Had his Juvia always looked this beautiful?...His Juvia? He wanted to kiss her.

God...he was a scumbag.

Juvia was confused. She didn't except to see Gray standing by her front door. They were not on speaking terms...again.

She didn't know whether to feel happy or devastated. Was loving him becoming exhausting? Should she give up? No...But..

"What are you doing here?" Juvia mumbled. Gray scratched a hand behind his neck and swallowed.

"I- I need you?" Gray stumbled out. He didn't realize what he had said until he said it. Juvia blushed. How could she stop when she hears things like that? There goes Gray being confusing and bad for her heart...again.

"W-what? What are you saying so suddenly ..stupid", Juvia chuckled nervously and walked around him to unlock her door.

She glanced back at an unmoving Gray.

"Come inside". She mumbled. As soon as Juvia closed the door behind them. The air became suffocating. None of them knew what to do now. They hadn't spoke to one another for a while and with their feelings for each other overflowing...they didn't know how to act around one another.

Juvia never wanted things to get this hard.

"What do you need me for, Gray-sama?" Before Juvia could comprehend that she accidentally called him Gray-sama, Gray backed her up against the door and took her lips in his.
