Jason wrapped his arm around me while the teacher blurred on.

Suddenly, a quiet knock came from the door. The teacher looked over at the door.

"Come in?" He called.

Annabeth walked in and whispered something to him. He nodded and pointed her to a seat. She sat down and pulled out a notebook quickly.

"Anyways. Class, I am Mr. D. I am your headmaster. Of course, Chiron, or your teacher whatever he prefers to be called, also works at the highschool. I'm sure many of you... know him." Mr. D's eyes landed on our little friend group. "So I will be subbing in for him. Let's start, today, with some... math!"

Leo groaned and balled up a tiny piece of paper, put it in some sort of tube, and spit it at him. Mr. D snapped his gaze to him.

"Ah, Liam Vamp. DETENTION!"

"It's LeO vAlDeZ." He said sassily.

"Sir-" Calypso tried to cut in, but got detention as well.

"In fact..." Mr. D sneered. "All of you besides Chase, Zhang, and... whatever your last name is." He pointed to Annabeth, Frank, and Hazel.

"Sir it's Levesque."

"Are you back talking me? DETENTION!"

Hazel sighed but didn't argue further.

"Great. Half of us did absolutely nothing wrong and have detention." We all glared at the teacher, who smiled sinisterly.

"Shall we continue now?"
