It was near evening with the sun setting behind the brick apartment building next to the park, there was a breeze and with a slight chill. Jake was sitting on a park bench facing opposite of the brick apartment buildings facing the few trees and a pond."I wonder how long it will be before my parents find me." Jake thinking to himself. "I do this almost everyday. My parents are set on the fact they want to homeschool me, I wish they could learn to let me go, so I could attend a real school and have real friends. I have ran to this park on Madison St. maybe they won't find me." Jake looking up. "Amazing, the trees with there different color leaves it's beautiful this time of year, it's my favorite time of year." Jake turns around to look and see if he sees his parents anywhere. "I don't see my parents so I think I'm good" Jake looks slightly up behind him. "What a beautiful sky it go's blue then purple then orange twords the buildings the sun now behind them." Jake taking and getting his journal. "What should I write today." Jake opens his journal and begins writing.
Beautiful Autumn
This time of year,
It's now here,
With its beautiful trees,
To my heart this time year holds the keys,
I love it's blue, purple, and orange sun setting sky,
As the breeze blows carrying birds high.Jake closing his journal. "This autumn is a dreadful one this year. My parents are actually celebrating my birthday this year. I don't want to celebrate my birthday. I have no friends and my parents are having it in the house. As if I wasn't sad enough." Jake grew up rough, he's an orphan but he does not know this. His mother abused him and the father was not in the household. Jake was young then and has no recollection of his real parents. He turns 15 this year living in New York City. Jean walks into the park as she yells for Jake. "Jake!" Jean yells. "Where could that boy have ran off to.. we try to make his life better and give him all we can. Are we doing something wrong?." She asked herself. Jake hears Jean in the distance. "No she can't find me. I don't wanna go back to that place. I've been trapped there my whole life and I don't want to be cooped up any longer". Jake quickly grabs his bag throwing it over his shoulder and takes off running. "I can't go back. I'll go insane". He said to himself. Jake turns his head to look behind him. "I think I may have gotten far enough". Not paying attention he hits a man. "Jeez, I'm sorry sir I..." before Jake finished his words he looked up his father stood there. Jake knew he had been caught and was going back to that home.
