The moonlight emitting from the window in Jake's room pasting a picture moonlight image of a window on the floor. Jake lies awake staring a blank stare as his ceiling with dries tears. Eyes red with the signs of someone who has cried to the point there body can no longer produce tears. His room has an old wooden floor a twin navy blue bed in the center of the right wall from his door with the end of the bed facing the left wall of his room. His window center of the wall directly in-front of the door. Just a lamp and a small dresser sit in his room with minimal clothes.

Jake laying in his bed begins to think of everything in his life over the years, "They lied to me. The woman they said I called grandma the kids who I thought were part of my family. I wondered if I had came from a place such as that then why have I never been back to visit." So many things began to make sense to Jake but he could not stand the fact that it had been hidden from him for so long. His emotions ran high with every thought, "Every birthday I ever had every-time I called them mom and dad and they were never my mom and dad. They were never my real family and they let me live a life of lie and for what their own personal benefit so that I wouldn't want to run away and never come back? I still feel they don't even understand me. I absolutely hate this place it feels like I'm confined to a space that I can't leave." Jake takes out his journal and begins to write:

Trapped
I'm confined in a space,
For being here I have such distaste,
I begin to stare into the wall,
Something reaches to me with a call,
It looks to be a figure trapped in the wall,
To break free - that's it's call,
I begin tearing at the wall,
To help it be free that's my call,
I'm now free from the wall,
You won't place me back in the wall,
You'll here my call,
Free am I from you,
Now you'll know this to be true..

Jake closes his journal and begins to think, "My life has been a lie for some long and now it's time for it to change. Tonight I live my life the way I want to and no matter how scared I am it's time to start seeing things for as they are. I've had enough of the lies and deceit." Jake opens his window and climbs out onto the metal grate, "I'm sorry Jane and Lewis, but it's time I figure things out for myself and I won't feel trapped or lied to ever again." Jake closed his window carrying only the necessities and climbed down the stairs and down the ladder at the bottom. Jake left from the last strand of ladder and hit the side walk with legs now aching in pain. He started his way down the sidewalk and to where he goes neither him or no one else knows. For the first time he was truly alone. To Jake though he's always felt alone so to him he feels this will be no different. His emotions guided his steps and pushed him through his overwhelming anxiety of leaving home.

The street was empty before him with an open stretch of road and sidewalk ahead. The street lights beaming down giving an ominous glow to the street with a thin fog in the air. As Jake began to walk from his home he threw his hood over his head wearing a worn hoodie his foster parents had bought him from the local store of Donated clothes. As he walked away he slowly faded into the distance unable to be seen.

The next morning...

The light from the sun pierced the sky from the crest of the distance beyond the city. The sky began to light up with few clouds in the sky as the sky became blue. Jake's foster parents awake. Jean goes to the kitchen to prepare breakfast as Lewis begins to collect materials for Jake's homeschooling. They avoid his room for a couple hours to wait for him to come out but notice after breakfast is done and after a bit of time of waiting he never emerges from his room.

Jean begins to call for Jake, "Jake honey food is ready you should come eat!" Silence filled the air. Lewis and Jean look at each other now growing worried. Lewis says, "Let me go talk to him. Lewis reaches for the handle realizing the door is still locked from yesterday. He knocks and says, "Hey kiddo I know what we talked about yesterday really upset you but can you please come in here and eat with me and your mother. We wanna talk to you and I we both need to apologize to you. If you could just open the door." No reply came from the room a dark erie feeling filled the air as anxiety took over Lewis and Jean. Lewis began frantically trying to open the door while Jean looked for something to use to get it open. Lewis, "Honey find something I can wedge in the door." Jean, "I'm looking!" Lewis becomes impatient and backs away and charges the door. The door flys open. Lewis face fills with terror. Jean, "Honey what's wrong..?" Jeans face also begins to feel the fear and comes to look he face also begins to fill with terror as she burst into tears. Jean, "WHY DID YOU EVER TELL HIM THIS IS ALL YOUR FAULT!" Lewis, "Honey I couldn't lie to him anymore. He needed to know! Now hurry we have to go find him!" Jean, "No I'm going to go call the police to find MY son who you have now caused us to lose." Jean storms off and slams the door to their bedroom. Lewis sits there angry with himself and his wife. Upset he everything that's just taken place he lets out a scream and punches a hole into Jake's wall. Lewis, "We don't have time for this. Looks like I'm going to have to find him on my own." Lewis grabs his coat and flys out the door with keys in hand in desperation to find his son. Now in the car Lewis flys onto the road only to get caught in traffic. Lewis thinks to himself, "Son I have no clue why you would do this. I promise if I find you I'll never lie to you again. I just want to hug you and get you back home." Lewis begins to drive recklessly to get around traffic to find his son. Lewis doesn't know where to look but feels trapped like his son is finally gone and this time unlike the other times when he's ran away. This time he feels he won't find him...
