SENDING VIOLET TO SCHOOL, as she has now come to realise, was more of a way to distract her from their real plans, rather than to have her gather information from Scott and his comrades like they had initially told her. It had become so blatantly clear when Braeden had let slip on Deucalion's plan to let Derek eliminate Scott. Her suspicion also derived when she had asked Reid how close he's willing to let her get to them, whether she should play nice as they hadn't yet to identify her as a villain, or to begin to torment them from the inside.Quite frankly, Violet was better at playing the villain.
"I thought I told you to stop following me around school." She twisted in her heels to face the two twins, who thankfully picked the library of all places to talk to her. "You two better have a really, really good excuse."
"It's about Lydia." Ethan rolled his eyes at her. "Aidan was talking to her, and noticed a bruise on her and Allison's arm. One that looked a lot like the bank's logo."
Aidan nodded. "I asked her how she got it, but she lied. We think it's Braeden's doing, when she was looking for Scott yesterday."
"I don't think they'll find out yet—" Violet looked over her shoulder to the two girls who sat on the table, enthralled at something on the computer. When she narrowed her eyes as an attempt to view the computer screen more clearly, she recognised the bank's logo on their screen. "And, never mind. So, what are you two going to do about it?"
"We wont, but you will." Aidan crossed his arms. "We overheard Scott saying he's trying the ice bath method to get Isaac to remember."
Violet nodded, catching on. "Then I stop Allison and Lydia." She glanced at the two girls. "Fine. But make sure Isaac remembers. We only want Derek and Scott there, so i'll take care of the girls."
She walked over to the two girls, overhearing Lydia as she said; "So, mystery girl leaves bruises on our arms that turns out to be a logo for a bank? What was she trying to do? Give us investment advice?"
"Not at this bank, it's been closed for months." Allison sighed. "Oh, and I can't exactly pick you up after school today. I have somewhere to be."
"Years." Violet sat down on the chair in front of them. "Sorry, I was overhearing."
Lydia couldn't suppress her eye-roll. "You do that a lot."
"Like I said, bad habit." Violet managed a convincing smile. "I want to help."
"Help what, exactly?"
"You think Boyd and Erica are trapped there, and I happen to know a way to get in." Violet shrugged, catching the suspicion on their faces. "Your friends talk very, very loudly in the hallways."
Lydia leaned in. "You stalked."
"I overheard."
The strawberry blonde, unwilling to befriend the Wendigo, wouldn't budge to her plan. "And why do you think we'll bother with breaking into that bank? Or to trust a murderous malevolent spirit with this?"
"Looks like you've been doing your research too." Violent pointed out. "I don't exactly fit in here, alright? I'd rather be friends with you and put my abilities to use than pretend i'm normal and go to high school parties and drink cheap beer."
"I'm going to class," Lydia got up, purposely avoiding the girl. "Allison?"
"You go, I think i'll do a little more research before class."
