TWO DAYS AGO, when Violet arrived to the loft at sunrise after partly succeeding in the plan, Reid asked her how it went. And in a faux nonchalant manner, she simply stated that it was good. That it went just as planned.Violet didn't like lying to Reid even when she could do it without him catching her. But this time it felt freeing to keep a moment that happened to her, and him not knowing enough to cajole her into telling him. It was one of the rare occasions where Reid didn't know about a personal occurrence, that is Isaac seeing her scars.
The same Isaac that has been following her around the woods during their physical education class, with Scott McCall by his side.
It hadn't slipped her notice either that the twins had also been following her around. She knew it would have to be one or the other, so she purposely sent a clandestine signal to the twins to follow her as she succeeded in losing Scott and Isaac off her trail. "For gods sakes, I told you a thousand times not to talk to me!" Violet exclaimed, pushing Aidan and Ethan aside. "Especially not now, with Reid's new plan."
Violet eyed the three boys behind the twins; Scott, Stiles and Isaac, who stood staring at her curiously, finding her once again. Make them believe you're in this by force, Reid had instructed her. She assumed it would be hard to pull off after threatening Isaac the day before and telling him she was willingly with the alpha pack. "Stop being a fucking dickhead," She said out of the blue, catching the twins off guard. "I told you I don't want to do it."
The twins fathomed what she was seeking to do when they peeped back at the two werewolves overhearing their conversation, but they didn't look entirely willing to do it. With a sigh, Ethan forced himself to snap back. "Well that's too damn bad, because you're doing it anyway."
If Violet was going to make this work, she'd have to make it more convincing. So she pushed her arm back and swung her fist across Ethan's face.
Isaac and Scott saw her nails lengthen into claws, and in fear that the students might see it, though they were a bit far, they jumped in between them. "Hey, hey, hey." Scott put his hand on Aidan's chest. "Just calm down, alr—"
Aidan threw him to the side until his back hit the tree, and he groaned in pain. Isaac glanced from Scott to Aidan, and clenched his jaw prior to pushing Aidan back himself. It had been the first time he'd gotten a good look at the twins, as he'd been watching the situation unfold while facing their backs. "It's them..." Isaac growled. He moved forward and his fist met Aidan's jaw.
The twins, incorporating their instructions to torment the group of supernatural into Violet's plan, held Isaac to the ground. "Ethan, can you remind me..." Aidan started. "How many bones are in the human body?"
Scott stepped forward, his punch throwing Aidan across the floor. "That's one."
Violet ran to his side, digging her foot into his arm until she heard a crack. "Two." She shrugged, and Ethan tackled her to the ground. When he started to hit her, she assumed it wasn't entirely only for the plan, or he wouldn't have hit her as hard.
"Stop!" Coach blew his whistle, stumbling upon the scene.
Violet spat the blood in her mouth on the floor, and was ready to fight back; this time not only because of the plan either. Before she could tackle him to the ground, Isaac and Scott pushed her back, holding onto each of her arms by Coach's instructions. "Let me go." She tried to break free of their hold.
"Not when you're like this," Isaac gestured to her hands, which revealed her claws. She glanced back up at the students circling around her, making sure they hadn't seen it.
