Akaashi's pov

I pulled out my phone still sitting with the puppy and looked at a text I got from Kenma.

Kenma💙

Kuroo and I went out for the night and it began to pour down. We're gonna stay at a hotel for the night and come home in the morning when it's dry xx

"Kenma and Kuroo are staying at a hotel for the night" I said to Bokuto.

"Okay Keiji, now please get changed I don't want you getting sick"

I sighed in agreement and began to strip. Bokuto said that it would be a lot smarter for me to bathe first but I really didn't want to leave the puppy alone just yet. "Just bring it in there with you" he huffed now getting annoyed with me not looking after myself.

"Okay Kō" I said getting up and kissing him on the cheek. I began to walk into the bathroom the puppy again following and started to draw a bath for myself.

I looked down at the small thing below me and realised I didn't even know if it was a boy or a girl. I gently picked it up to find that it was actually a she. Cute, I thought to myself. I turned off the tap and slowly got into the steamy water to let my body adjust to the temperature change. I wasn't expecting what came next. As I slowly sat down in the bath my skin still adjusting to the heat until she jumped into the tub splashing my raw skin with the hot water. It was slightly painful but I didn't care when I saw her smiling with her tongue out enjoying the warmth. I let out a small giggle as I gently patted her on the head leaving my hand covered in mud. "You're really dirty" I spoke in a way you would talk to a child. I decided to get out and just wash her instead. I rubbed in some of my lavender body wash lathering her up. The once clear water now was a murky brown but the bath revealed that she was actually snow white and not some horrible shade of brown.

I stood up and patted the side of my leg signalling for her to follow me and without hesitation she jumped out the tub almost slipping on the tiles and started to happily prance over to me. I grabbed a towel for the both of us and started to dry myself first so that I could get dressed. After being in a steamy hot room to now come into a stuffy one it was quite a cozy vibe. I was to hot to were a jumper so I just chucked on some grey sweatpants. I then grabbed her towel and started to dry her off, she seemed to love the attention. Once dry she turned into a giant fluff ball, cute. I walked back into the lounge where Bokuto was sitting, his hair wet and like me only wearing sweatpants.

"When did you shower?" I asked wth the fluff ball trailing my feet.

"I got to cold so I went to Kenma's bathroom and showered in there and yes don't worry I already asked and he said it was fine" Bokuto exclaimed with a light chuckle. "It looks cleaner" he then huffed

"What are you jealous Kō?" I teased

"Well duh it got to have a bath with you"

"You shouldn't be jealous of her Kō" I said while wrapping my arms around his neck "You know you're the only one I wanna bathe with" I whispered into his ear.

I felt him pull my over his shoulder and pin me underneath his on the couch "Don't you tease me Keiji" he said while stealing a kiss until the little fluff ball came running around the corner of the couch and started to tug at Bokuto's sweatpants growling. "So it's a she huh?" He said not even bothered by the thing now attached to his pants.

"Yeah I'm gonna take her to the vet tomorrow, make sure everything's okay with her" I said as I sat up, he just nodded.

I picked her up and gently placed her on my lap and began patting her. I leaned into Bokuto's side to show that he wasn't someone to be scared of and she began to warm up to him. Bokuto put on a movie and the three of us cuddle on the couch until I felt myself begin to doze off from the warmth and fell asleep cradled by Bokuto with her lying on my chest.
