Akaashi's pov

It was about 7:00am when the little white snow ball decided to wake me up pouncing on me to lick my face "Ahhh clam down girl" I said in a quietly stern voice trying not to wake Bokuto. I began to scratch gently behind her ear and she soon began to calm back down. I made sure to get up carefully so that I could let Bokuto sleep in as much as possible and went into the kitchen to begin making coffee and call up the vet. After filling my mug and lifting the puppy up onto my lap I called the vet.

"Tokyo veterinarian, Kai speaking how may I help you?" -vet

"Hey I found this stray puppy and it seems very undernourished I was wondering if I could come in today with her and get her checked out?" -Akaashi

"Sure I can make an appointment for 11:30am does that work for you?" -vet

"Yes that would be great thank you".

After I hung up the phone I grabbed my mug of coffee and took a sip before hearing footsteps coming to the kitchen. The tall man didnt say a word he just walked over and stood behind me wrapping his arms around my shoulders and kissing my neck. "Morning Keiji" he spoke in a tired yet seductive tone.

"Morning Kō. I got an appointment for the puppy at 11:30am" I said putting the mug down and leaning into his touch.

"Ughhh that's to early" he groaned "cant we just stay like this?" He said burying his face into the crevasse of my neck planting small kisses.

I spun my stool around and gently grabbed his face cupping it with my hands and kissed him softly "I'll go you stay don't worry I'll be back soon". He didn't say anything he stood up straight and wrapped his arms around me once again pulling my into a tight embrace 'I wish we could stay like this too' I thought to myself.

I was on my way to the vet with the puppy happily in the back seat of the car her head out the window barking at everything she saw. When we pulled up to the vet I gently picked her up and she didn't hesitate to cuddle in my arms. "Hi I'm Akaashi I had an appointment for 11:30am" I said to the man at the front desk

"Oh yes Akaashi I'm Kai the man you spoke to on the phone, come on through" the man said and pointed to the door behind the desk. "Just place her on this table right here and we can start" he said gesturing to the grey marble counter top. "You were right to bring her in she does look rather underweight" he said in a concerned tone while poking and prodding at the snow ball.

After about half an hour he completed his examination on her. "I think it would be best if she stayed here for the night so that she can be properly fed and rested without all the excitement of being at a strangers place" he said while patting her on the head "I will give you a call tomorrow if I think her condition is well enough for her to be taken home".

"Okay thank you". After filling out some paper work I said my goodbyes to the fluff ball and started to drive back home.
