My heart aches... a deep breathy sigh passes my lips as I clutch my heart, my mind wandering aimlessly. I look down at my fuzzy socks, flash backs of how we use to be making my heart clench.
(5 months ago) "Babyyyyyy" i giggle when I hear that singsong voice, the bright messy haired boy comes running in, slipping because of the fuzzy socks he has on. "Hi baby... come slide with me!" Not giving me time to respond he Suddenly runs over to me, jumping on top of my small form laying in the bed. "AHHHHH!" I giggle when he covers me with kisses, squealing as he tickles my sides, "hurry up baby I bought you a pair too!" He yells his hair flopping on the way out. "I'll be right there baby!!" Standing up I walk over to the door, the smile on my face gets bigger and bigger, stepping into the living room I can see all of the furniture moved back. Giving us just enough space to have fun, my eyes widen in shock when I catch kookie mid slide, "babe watch-...." my voice gets drowned out as he smacks right into the balcony sliding door. My hand flies to my mouth, stifling a laugh I bend over clutching my stomach. Standing up fast he gives me a murderous look, playfulness glinting in his eyes, "oh I'm sorry... are you laughing!?". He takes a step... then another, I throw my arms up as I quickly take tiny steps back. "What! No- baby baby baby- hold on right there!! I wasn't laughing I SWEAR!" I get cut off as he jumps at me, breathless laughs getting caught in my throat as he grips my waist, giggles filling the apartment. _____________________________________
My hand covers my mouth, I try to quiet my sobs, glancing over I look at him, watching him sleep, his smile is not there... it hasn't been there for a while now.

His chest rises and falls, he takes soft breaths deep in sleep, I listen, over the rain I swear I can hear his heartbeat. I listen to the rain fall and the beat of his heart, making the quietness grow, I feel so small I feel so... alone. I watch his hair stick to his forehead, bringing my hand up I hover over his face, my fingertips ghost his jaw line, not yet touching. I'm scared, nothing is like how it used to be, I feel like he's falling out of love, what if his love is gone?, I snap my hand away as I think, holding it to my chest as more tears slip out. I bring my knees up, I put my head down resting my chin on them, I watch him some more as i remember the good times.
(3 months ago) 'Ding ding' the sound of the shop bell alerts the clerk, we both bow slightly to acknowledge the worker. I pull on his white shirt as I drag him to the snack isle, we decided to go out and get some late night snacks before starting our movie marathon. Stopping infront of the snacks I look over them, pointer finger on my lip as im deep in thought, looking at all the choices to pick from. Kookie takes out a basket putting it on the crook of his arm, "okay baby pick something.. anything you want" I smile as I turn my head to look at him. "Are you an option?" I blush as I see his eyes get darker, "if you don't pick something now.. I'm taking you home and eating you instead of these chips, so I suggest you hurry it up..-" he says a small smirk resting on is face. My eyes widen as I take in his words, a dark scarlet paints my cheeks, grabbing a bunch of random bags I throw them in the cart, running down the isle, I turn back towards him. He bites the air, gripping he cart tighter he chases me down the isle.
