Chapter 6 - Hazel's POV

Annabeth told me about the Nico fiasco and I'm honestly scared for him. He's my little brother! I saw him walking alone on the beach. ''Nico! Come here! I-I need to speak to you!'' I called out to him, he shot me a glance then walked in my direction. I realized he must be thinking of Percy, I missed Percy too. ''I don't wanna talk about it'' He scowled, shoving his hands into his pockets. He obviously knew what I wanted to talk to him about. ''Nico, please, I don't want to lose my little brother'' I said to him, he shot me a look before speaking. ''Hazel, no one else cares, they all want Percy back, its really a small price to pay'' I must've been crying because the next thing he said was ''Hazel, please, I will be with Bianca again, I will be in the realm of my father, I want to do this, support me, please, I have nothing to lose'' he protested. ''Nico!'' I shouted, not in my usual tone. He just put his hood up so I couldn't see his face and walked away. ''Oh gods, what have I done!'' I thought to myself, I shook my head and sat down, thunder booming overhead. ''Nico! Nico I'm sorry!'' I croaked out. But it was no use, he was gone. I felt horrible now, he's going through so much, and I just yelled at him for trying to bring Percy back. Did I support it? No I didn't, I want my lil'bro (Or whatever you call your siblings in this generation) to stay in the realm of the living. Just then, I did something I never thought I could do. I ran over to the camp store and bought some blue food (they did that so Percy didn't complain anymore) and I ran back to Percy's grave, I summoned him, I actually summoned a ghost! Snap out of it Hazel! You have to pass this information to Percy! I thought again. A green light flased again and it manifested into Percy ''Hey Neeks whatcha... Hazel? You can summon ghosts?'' He questioned, ''Now isn't the time Percy! Nico is going to sacrifice himself for you, please, no offense Percy, but tell him not to!'' I spat. Percy's brow furrowed, ''No, I don't want him doing that for me, I want Nico to stay in this world.'' He said, like it was none taken, ''Thank you'' I said back. ''Hazel, tell everyone else I'm sorry I died'' he requested. I gave him a nod and then in another flash, he was gone. I breathed a sigh of relief.
