I silently waited to be summoned again, practicing what I was going to say to Neeks. I blinked and I was back in the real world. I woke up on a beach, soft waves rolling near by, I saw the suprised face of Charles Beckendorf as I appeared next to the chair he was lounging in, ''Perce!'' He exclaimed then he ran over and slapped a big hand on my back, I felt guilty, it was my fault he was there, ''Silena! Come see whos here!'' He yelled. Silena jogged over, her hair swaying from side to side, ''Percy!'' She yelled while giving me a small kiss on the cheek. I felt my cheeks turning red and she just laughed. I saw her face quickly fall as she asked me ''the question'', ''Percy, how did you uh..'' She stuttered, not knowing if she could ask me that or not. I simply laughed and I explained, Silena just sighed, ''ahhh! True love'' she giggled. '''Percy...?'' A familiar voice said behind me, I didn't even need to turn around to know who it was. ''You died to protect my little sister, I could never thank you enough for that'' he said in a tone which surprised me, ''How is she doing, by the way?'' He asked me, I turned, yep! I was right, I saw a long scar, going from his eye down to the corner of his mouth. A golden ring around his eyes. ''I don't know, Luke'' I replied, he looked down at his feet, I felt awkward, I really did. I thought of how Annabeth was feeling, I thought about how I'd never see my friends in physical form again, I saddened at the thought. The others must've seen, ''Percy, Iris allows us to IM the people above occasionally, I just thought you would like to know'' Silena informed me, I shot her a thank you look, ''Percy, why are you, glowing...?'' Charlie asked, I looked down and realized I was disappearing. I reappeared in front of you and Annabeth, and I noticed Thalia behind you guys. Then we.. We talked, Annabeth unnecessarily apologized for not seeing the spear, I was heartbroken, I never wanted to see my Wise Girl like that. Then I saw the broken in your eyes. I tried to talk, but my ADHD made me talk to Thalia instead because she was hiding, I'm sorry Nico, I'm sorry I did this to you, believe me, please, I wanted to say, but then I disappeared.

''And thats the story Nico, and please forgive me'' I said before glancing down at his arms, scarred with cuts that I'm sure he caused. He must've seen me staring because he tugged down his sleeves. ''How come you never even IM'd us then Percy? You had the option'' He said, I didn't know how to respond, I honestly didn't, I thought for a moment before saying ''Because Nico, I'm afraid you'll miss me more, and you summon my ghost every night, that also gave me a reason that I didn't have to''. He just stared at me. I felt his black obsidian eyes staring right through me, (no pun intended) and I then I just went back to the Underworld, before realizing it was a bad time to leave.
